why is MPQ crashing my phone and my tablet?

Every time i start MPQ my phone and tablet have been seizing up since this new update. i have to restart both of them and then hope that MPQ will load.
any ideas from my fellow forumites? I have tried to force stop the app and that sometimes works. this is mega frustrating. thanks for any help

It's a bug that will hopefully be fixed soon.0

Similar here (on Android).
I usually have to try 3-5 times (force stop and try again) until it finally starts
