App wont launch

As of today, the app will not launch. I was playing earlier today and now cannot get the game to open. The loading screen doesn't even come up, just nothing happens when I click on the icon to open the game.. I believe R109 to be the cause. Others in the Google Play store are reporting the same issue. Please fix ASAP. Why did it have to happen during the gauntlet! My favorite event. : (
