Wave rounds move REALLY slow

Since the last update, I've been having a problem with wave rounds slowing down to a crawl. It doesn't matter how many waves in the round, but the pieces take a second or two to fall, and the AI turn takes about three times as long. I can play a regular round with no problem, have a wave round crawl, then play another regular round at full speed. I'm not having internet connection problems. Deadpool Daily is really irritating to play right now.
