Inconsistencies in identical card text

Crush of Tentacles and Tyrant of Valkut both have the same mechanic of decreasing their cost whenever you play a spell, support, or creature. However, tokens as summoned by Thopter Spy Network or Saheeli's 1st skill will only count for reducing Tyrant's cost, not Crush of Tentacles.

Feel free to post more inconsistencies in this thread.

I already reported this bug(bumping the matter helps too).
To be noted that it concerns all token creatures not only the thopters spawn by saheeli first skill.

Bushwaker also do not get reduction from token creatures.

Gone Missing will destroy token creatues but Roil Sprout can't even target tokens. Both cards return a creature to top of library.

Yes, I was trying poorly to specify that it triggers when you summon tokens but not when you reinforce them directly with something like mirrorpool.

Tormenting Voices and Magmatic Insight have the same text and work completely differently.

Well I think mirrorpool should not trigger additional mana reduction cause you do not play an additional creature to reinforce, it just gets reinforced.

Not that it matters after all, in this case we are discussing 1 additional mana reduction.
  • Tribal Lords are inconsistent on whether they affect themselves.

    Thalia's Lieutenant does.
Diregraf Colossus did before the most recent patch, but I believe that's a bug.
    Geir Reach bandit does not.

It would be nice to know whether Olivia, Mobilized for War will buff herself or not, especially if she's going to be a premium offer.

Logic says that she should, then again logic doesn't really apply in this game icon_e_wink.gif
