Malevolent Whispers causing freezes?

I had two freezes today when different red opponents cast Malevolent Whispers. Anyone else encountering this?

    Just had a freeze when I cast it too.

    Same here. Being fed up of loosing points to bugs in events.

    For the other posters, what was stolen?

    I've had freezes from the opponent casting turn against on my Thing in the Ice.
