3* teams
So...
I am not looking here for the best team advice here, just ppl thoughts on 3* trios. Without Spidy goes everywere
I like playing with different teams and not really into pvp dominance, but I am yet to get any coherent ideas for proper 3* set ups (thanks iso and covers shortage mostly and so lack of on hand expirience )
Mostly i wonder who to pair with Hood, C.Mags and Psylock... But, really anythig goes

Actually, a lot of people don't use spidey in their normal 3* teams, they just sub him in for heals.
Have you considered a strike tile generator? Patch or Punisher
OBW is fun with the hood too0 -
I consider Patch to be more or less mandatory because of the healing. You can pair him with any of those 3. Patch + CMags would really be enough to win any fight currently, the third is just a bonus. Hood would offer Ap stealing, Psylocke an active black ability. Whatever you enjoy.0

Mm, I can think of good duos or how to bild team around one character...
I was thinking more of the teams were every one is usefull, not one dominating and other too not really nessesary and for support.0 -
Well there are 9 abilities on your team in total, but only 6 colors... so many two char combinations will also be very powerful and the third choice will boil down to support. In the Patch+Mags case, all you are missing is a Black and active Yellow ability. Black Panther would fit in there perfectly I guess. Though the AP stealing from Hood might actually prove more effective in reality, because it's rarely beneficial to actually gather all colors at once, you end up only actively collecting two colors usually. So do you -really- need 6 active abilities that do damage? Or are passives that help you make the most out of other abilities perhaps not more useful? That's why I'd still pick a support char like Hood or OBW over a third damage dealer.0

well, its not like I make usefulness a priority - i just want fun and deversity... to probably play in prologue for 20 iso per fight >_<
like Patch-Loki-Spidy team is interesting to play (if you "forget" about stunlock) with two purple abilities for one and Loki`s trickery for extra protections, but its not very reliable team for pvp
I was looking for match ups like this one0 -
I really love the 3/5/5 punisher 3/5/5 OBW 5/5/3 the hood team.
It steals a lot of ap it has a heal and strike tiles for obw.
The team isn't huge in damage until late but it gets there.
It's also super strong on defense.0 -
Spidey Hulk GSBw
You build defense with Spidey and purple. You use purple to fuel Widows sniper rifle (and create 2-3 crit tiles in the process). You clean up the leftovers with Hulk or GSBWs red. You use Hulk's anger to generate more green.
Lazy Thor Hulk GSBW
Patch-busting team that makes quick work of any strike tiles he lays down. All three generate green tiles and can use them in different ways to throw down damage.0 -
CMags/Hood/Punisher is a great team.
CMags gives defense and Punisher gives strike/attack tiles. You have a rainbow of abilities and only missing purple on tile damage. Hood is only exposed on yellow matches so his lower health is not a big deal.
Both CMags and Punisher are fun to play and Hood feeds them AP while preventing the enemy team from setting off ANY abilities. Hood yellow followed by CMags purple is just so satisfying.0 -

With these team Hood is never exposed, yellow goes to CMags, remember that the colors of CMags are red, blue and yellow (not pink), so yellow and blue go to CMags and black to Punisher. I have used this team and it is great (but, of course CMags is great on his own ). The only weakness in this team is pink matching.
I use sometimes a team composed of CMags, Spidey and Punisher. Here you have all colors covered, you have strong attack powers, AoE, shields, attack and strike tiles, stunning, healing, etc, etc. Probably the best team in the whole game (of course two of the members of this team will be nerfed in the near future :S).0 -
Call me crazy but I'd really like to try a max level Daredevil on defense.
7k damage for 7AP isn't too shabby considering most of the more popular characters need red AP.
Hood/Daredevil/Lazy Thor, it could work I think!0 -

It could work, at least it would be a very annoying team. The problem is having to spend that much iso for a character that you are going to use just for defense, so I think there are better alternatives.0 -

DD would have been awesome as a 1 star or 2 star hero. You could rack up a lot more defensive wins against lesser experienced players.0 -

^ Thor** does NOT overwrite traps with his red or yellow abilities, one time I put a trap on red which enemy Thor converted to a yellow tile, but the trap remained. So I assume modern Thor doesn't either, and only direct tile destruction ability destroys/disarms the traps.0
