Which team is better?

So assuming I can get full covers for these characters (I'm still some amount away) which of the following teams do you think are better?

1) 5/3/5 BWGS, 3/5/5 Spidey, 5/5/3 Punisher

or

2) 3/5/5 3* Thor, 3/5/5 Spidey, 5/5/3 Punisher

I really like the tanky-ness of Thor but feel like there's too much overlap on abilities with Punisher. Any thoughts?

    Overlap aside you have to keep in mind in your 1st team suggestion gsBW's green will probably be useless because of the high cost/Punisher's green is very viable. So you're bringing her along just for her purple?

    At least Thor gives you another viable option for yellow, and a good one too.

    You're much more likely to get Punisher and Thor's green off by way of Thor's yellow then you are Punisher and Widow's green by way of her purple.

    Plus tankiness like you mentioned.

    Also I'm not familiar with Punisher's red at 3. Would Thor's red be better (unless you're set up for a kill shot of course)?

    Of the two my vote is for team 2.

    I don't really think GSBW has too much synergy with your current team, whereas Thor will give you an offensive yellow and not be a defensively liability.

    As others have already said - there's no real integrity in your team with GSBW. Her main strength lies in her green ability, which is so damn highly priced that you absolutely can't use any other green abilities - and with Punisher on your team you want to throw a Judgement every time you possibly can. She might work much better with Hulk instead of Punisher, as you'd probably not be very tempted to use Thunderous Clap, and Hulk's body will make up for Widow's low health. The way you have it, Thor is a better solution.

    Thanks all for the advice! The main reason I like GSBW in the mix is she gives a use for purples that I collect when building spidey shields. I can then use the purple to fuel either punisher's green or her green depending on the situation. But it sounds like with all things considered, Thor is the better character to throw into the mix.

    GumisK, I'd love to have Hulk to add to the team, but unfortunately he's currently at 5/1/1 so not much use. Punisher and GSBW I currently have 12 covers for each. I only have 7 covers for 3* Thor too, but I'm hoping to pick up 3 more when the event ends.
