Lilianna - raise dead - kindly stranger

I used Liliannas raise dead ability to bring back kindly stranger on one game, two times.

Both times, on my opponents turn (Gideon), delerium black occurred, kindly stranger transformed, and was immedietly destroyed. My opponent had no creatures. The firat time, I had one other creature (zombie horse) and the second time I had none.

There were 2 supports on the field, I had none, my opponent had 2, both were gem transforming supports (a rare white/blue, and a rare white/green).

Why did kindly stranger die when she transformed after I raised her?

The best bet is it being a bug that force her to choose herself to kill because of the special ability triggered by her transofmation.

It's not that. The reason for it is that it was killed in transformed state so it's condition is 0. It gets ressurected in non-transformed stated with full condition, then it transforms and since the games saves the stats of the transformed state (otherwise You'd lose reinforcements when transforming) and it's 0 hp, so the creature dies again. Short version: both states of transformation are being saved but only the non-transformed state gets resurrected...

It's a bug indeed and happens always so easy to reproduce.

There is definitely something wrong with transformations.
Another example is thing in the ice.
If it gets bounced to hand, once played again it will transform as soon as it gets in the battlefield.
Effectively your reasoning seem quite plausible.
