I can't seem to win any fight in this event without losing at least one character. Problems:

* Featured Cyclops. Brutal damage on red and black, massive (16, 17, 18K!) health pool.
* Boosted Blade. Bleed, bleed, bleed. The one I just beat had a 5-cover black which savagely drained me of red. Leading to Optic Blasts or Mjolnir's Might.
* Boosted Thor. Lots of freaking health. Call the Storm hurts.

I've tried running any combo of the weekly boosteds - all of whom I have champed - and the results are the same. I can win, but it's just brutal on health packs.

Last match: Cyc/Thor/Blade vs mirror team. Enemy Cyc wasn't even fully covered. Result = dead Cyc, dead Blade, Thor 3h5 healing time. 41 points.

Why do I freaking bother.

I've found it can be better to use a non boosted character to speed things up. Iron Fist and/or Scarlet Witch can work.

Rulk is a monster.
Boosted to 392 i'm running him instead of 435 Phoenix.

Don't have a decently covered Rulk...

I scratched & clawed to 400 at the cost of 5 more health packs. I quit.

This whole week has been brutal. Not sure if it's just rulk being the only great 4* boosted this week or if something else is going on.

I can typically float for an hour+ between 600 and 700 points, and I often hit 1k or even 1080 before my first shield.

In both events this week so far I have struggled to float above 500 and had to start shielding around 800.

I agree its been brutal, but I'm shocked I haven't needed to dip into tacos for packs. thought for sure last night I would but managed. barely. was down to 1 at one point. next week might be easier after carnage and rulk weeks. cyke isn't played nearly as well by AI.

to be fair the ai doesnt exactly play rulk "well". it just gamma siphons on 7 purple and claps on 9 green. not exactly optimal play. its just that both moves hurt regardless especially aoe green at 360+.
