    They probably DDOSed themselves by patching with 15 mins to go on a PvP event & LR going at the same time. Everyone patching at the same time & trying to reconnect probably made the servers fall over (if patch & game servers use same resources).

    They are back up now & Divine Champions event has started.
    lol was about to say the same thing. No need for a 3rd party to DDoS when they do it to themselves

    Last 10 min was down also, but I seem to have gotten a defensive bump into top 5. So lucky if it stayed that way, still waiting for the rewards...

    I dunno bout you guys, but after the patch, I've got Fitted Kitchens installed on my iPad. Lots of storage space, but a shame they didn't turn the water back on.

    I created an account just to complain about this. I was pushing my way to 500 Shield Points in the tournament for the free Hero Points and to slide into the top 50 for a Psylocke cover. Plus, living in South Korea, I stayed up late just to do it.

    The app also crashed on me and my team was dead. I had to use healing packs just to get back to that point. I'm really disappointed. So lame, D3.

    This was a blessing in disguise for me I think. I broke my shield to try to get into top 10. Got overly eager once I reached 9th and shielded again. Regretted it instantly as I am sure I could have managed one more battle. Closed the game down and returned 30 min later when I knew the event was over.

    TOP 10 BABY!!! Really wanted two Psylocke covers. She's now my highest leveled Hero at 89 icon_e_biggrin.gif

    Sorry to hear about all of you that had trouble.

    Seems a lot of people got screwed at the end of this tournament. I didn't start until 30 mins from the end and I got screwed pretty hard. There's a few posts about it in the bugs sub-forum, including my own.

    I was poised to jump into top 5 when it happened. Only needed a few points and had an easy match lined up. Ended up finishing top 10 but wrote them a complaint email hoping they add the Black Psy cover to my reward bundle since it was totally their fault (and terribly timed I might add). Freerolling for a black!

    Just created an account as well. This is only the second tournament I've really pushed to be at the top (using shields and setting my alarm to play at certain times). I went to bed last night (shielded) in 4th place. Woke up this morning in 19th (but not too many points in between everybody). Pushed all the way up to 8th when the crash happened. I would have been okay with a top 10 but really was going for top 5. Came back on to see a top 25 finish. Really annoying because whether I finished 11th or 50th, I would have received the same cover. I am on day 55 and the Psylocke event was my first big PVE so I've been trying to concentrate on her.

    On a somewhat off topic note, will they ever have Spiderman covers in some of these PVE/PVPs? Like I said, I'm on day 55 and have a total of one cover. I'm a huge Marvel comic reader and Spidey has always been my second favorite character (behind Gambit) whether he is Peter Parker or Doc Ock. I've seen plenty of mentions of an overdue "funbalance" and tinykitty nerf so not sure if that's the reason he isn't being handed out much or if it is just because they are focused more on the newer characters. I was even buying the 100 HP daily deal or some time until I finally realized that it was a waste.

    Edit- And with where my MMR is and my highest characters in the 60s, the lightning rounds are somewhere I can't compete.

    What did you end up scoring? When I checked at 15 minutes, I saw that you got hit down to 800. Did you get knocked out of Top 5?

    Whew, that's good at least.

    If it makes you feel any better, I had an easy 30 pointer and 20 pointer queued up for the last push. Real bummer it ended so abruptly, would've liked to see a real ending.

    There was a huge rash of Spidey being awarded right AFTER they announced the nerfs, actually. I had three covers sitting in my cache for a week hoping the nerf would come down, but it obviously didn't. It's been dry for him since then, though. I need two blue covers. People who started maybe a week or two before I did are awash in blue covers, but my Spidey sits uselessly with a 4 AP stun.

    Thanks for the reply. I figured that's how it's been. Whenever I look at someone's team, they either have a fully covered Spidey or one with just one or two covers, never anywhere in between.
