Bit Confused on scoring

So I started the current pvp event m, however after clearing the nodes found no-one else was really active in my coalition so I swapped for a much more active one.

However my points don't seem to be added on to my coalitions total. Don't know if this is a bug, whether there is a time delay or if there is just a rule I'm unaware of.

Anyone else encountered this?

Maybe you only give point to your current coalition? It could be a way to stop people forming a 'super' winning coalition at the end of the event of everyone with max scores, just for the prize and then disbandimg again?

It's probably like the tiers--it locks you into whatever state you are at the time you join, and can't upgrade tiers or coalitions later.

You can't take your points when you swap coalitions. I found that out asI had the same issue as you. I found a higher ranking one and then got booted as I had 0 points within the coalition since I was waiting for my timers to reset. It kept my individual score, but wiped the coalition points.

I like it, because it prevents mercing. In MPQ, you can rack up a huge score and then the top alliances just drop their lowest players to recruit high scores and place well in the events.

You earn the ribbons for the coalition you are in at the time you earned the ribbons. If you want to switch coalitions, you can't take your score with you. This is a good thing. If you want to find a good coalition, you can do so between events, or, the coalition trying to recruit you needs to sacrifice the potential to earn ribbons by recruiting you midstream.

I don't know whether the ribbons you earned stay with the coalition you left. They should, but that also opens up the potential exploit that player A plays his initial 15 nodes and then drops from the coalition. Player B then joins the coalition and plays the initial 15 nodes and drops. Player A rejoins after his nodes refresh, plays, and drops. Player B rejoins...

Only one of Player A and B will be in the coalition to receive the prize, but it would be a pretty big exploit to easily ensure that one of your coalitions is always on top.
