The tokens of Season XXX (no porn, sadly)

I was hoping for more wildly inappropriate artwork during season XXX. It was just more of the same. Oh well. Here, as in so many seasons past, is everything I earned through season XXX and then some. I held off until after the SHIELD rank update so there are tokens in there from stuff I got in season XXXI. As always, only the gold or better pulls are listed, significant pulls are in bold, pulls listed are condensed for readability and not listed in pull order unless noted. One update to my methodology moving forward is that I am listing all the supplemental pulls and such that came from champion rewards, so the initial numbers in the hoard reflect that. Whee.

Observations and (purely subjective) conclusions:

1. Get a sniff of that 5* pull rate. Just look closely, and smell it. Can you smell it? That's suffering. That's me, at long last, echoing the sadness that so many of my comrades here have put up with. That's also the smell of me, taking a dump on pure RNG restricting my progress. Yes, I have been fortunate enough to champ both Logan and Phoenix. That also means that I cannot make any meaningful progress with anything less than 5* pulls. Moreover, one Gobbler cover does exactly zero for me. If you were so inclined, you could come to the conclusion that my entire seasons' worth of play was meaningless. **** that ****.
2. Did you see that silver token pull rate, too? Granted it's literally the other end of the spectrum, but that also dropped an amazing turd. Nothing! Two hundred twenty-six pulls and not a single gold cover. Amazing. I sense a great disturbance in the Force...
3. While I'm there, those silver tokens were rather lopsided in their 2* rewards: 36 covers = 6 Moonstone, 6 Daken, 5 Bullseye, 4 Ares, 3 Marvel, 2 of everyone else, and zero Wolverine. Go figure.
4. And then again, going the other way, Blind Justice paid out handsomely, as did Venom: Heroic.
5. Between the sales, the 2* farm, and the very generous SHIELD rank reward, I was able to champion three more 4* characters and still have literally half a million Iso in the bank. I could champion one or maybe two more, but they are all mediocre at best and I'm gonna wait to see if any of these rumored rebuilds of **** characters merits my attention. Since I didn't pull any Surfer covers, he's not getting any Iso yet.

And finally, my standard closing spiel, but with a twist!

Surfer needs to be reworked. I've had him at 13 covers for at least three seasons now, and he's still level 255 and I don't care. He is just not worth the Iso. I'll withhold my bile for after his rebuild, although from what I've heard, I'm not still expecting enough good to merit championing him for any reason beyond not wasting covers.
It is still insulting that we have scads of **** 4* characters when their covers are so hard to come by, and they cost so much to level. Again, I've heard about the rebuilds so I'll save more bile. However the fact that we've been saddled with these stinking messes for so long to begin with is bad enough. Knock it off with the bad characters already!

Man I feel your pain. I am 100% sure the system knows we have champed 5s and we get less 5 covers!!! :S

Yesterday, I also opened like 12 latest LTs and got 0 - 5s, 0, ZERO !!! Not even one. So my global latest LTs is now around 8%, this is the second 20+ streak of 0 5s in latest since the 15% change. Great. All my happiness from the ranking system disappeared in 15 seconds of bad luck. Why do I need a rank If I can't really progress in the game. Why bother to max any 4 when the system forces me to use just 5s? The 5s I can't get

I hope the Clearance rank can fix this...

PS: Meanwhile an alliance team mate got 7 - 5s from 20 pulls (35%). And another person I know got 4 - 5s out of 10 pulls last month !!!! (40%!!!)
PS: I finally champed my SS with the Rank iso, probably not worth it but who cares. I had one SS cover that was going to expire so at least this way I am again able to use any 5 cover I will get (3 champed, no other color at 5)
