What should I do with 500k+ Iso?

Well, SHIELD Ranks are here, and with them 782k Iso.
I championed my last 3 3*s and maxed the 2*s as far as covers allow, now I just need to decide what to do with the 500k+ iso I have left (beyond continuing my 2* farming as covers allow).

Options:
1) Raise some more of my Level 140 4*s up to 182 (or as high as covers will allow)
2) Raise some/all of my Level 182 4*s to a higher level (maybe something around 200)

I'm just a bit hesitant since to this point, 3*s have been my main teams (with the occasional 4* dropped into a flexible spot) and I haven't figured out what impact raising the 4*s would have on my scaling.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

The best answer is, frustratingly, to sit on that ISO hoard. It's weird having that much ISO just laying around, especially after it only trickled in for so long, but the smart option is to wait for top 4*s to get their last covers. A huge of a windfall as these ranks have been, that ISO will vanish FAST once you start seriously working on 4*s. Your Rulk, Iceman, and HB are all 2 covers away and none of them have the cover spread to show you their real power. You're going to want them champed sooner rather than later.

Thanks for the suggestion but wouldn't only champing a few of them cause a significant impact on my scaling?

It will, yes. Which is why you would only do it with top tier characters.

If your goal is to maintain your 3* roster as useful for the longest possible amount of time, then yeah, that isn't the way to go, though. In that case, I'd recommend putting in a couple levels at a time into buffed 4*s you feel have potential to be useful to you, until their buffed levels are close to the buffed levels of your 3*s, or a bit higher. That won't actually use a whole bunch of Iso, either, so you'll be able to maintain a hoard if you decide you want it, and it shouldn't excessively damage your scaling. Eventually you might find yourself using more 4*s than 3*s and you'll know it's time to leave the tier behind for good.

Just be aware that going that direction may eventually result in you having to sell a 4* cover that maybe you could have used for championing otherwise. You'll have to decide how the balance of the value of bad scaling and the value of missing out on a handful of LTs stands for you.

your ice would be useful as-is with im40 but you have some builds that need to be respec'ed when champed, so I'd sit and see which covers land first. some of your closest 4s are very good - rulk, hb, jean, ice. and I'd hate to just bring all of them up and not have any left when the right cover hits. if you play pvp any, wait and max your first top tier that gets covered. if you don't care about pvp at all and stick solely to pve, leveling them evenly won't hurt anything other than you missing out on the champ rewards and wasting covers down the road.
  • I split the difference. I bumped all my higher level 4*s to level 200 and raised Cyclops and Peggy to 172 (as high as covers allowed) and saved 260k (after my next SHIELD level up) for now.

Any other 4*s that I should bump up to the higher soft cap?
