Delirium Moorland Drifter

Just had the moorland drifter "fly" without flight. At the beginning of ai turn there were 3 white gems. It made a match, dropped 3 more white gems for a total of 6 on the board. Flight icon disappeared from card and then it attacked directly, bypassing my blocker completely. There was nothing effecting either my blocker or moorland drifter.
