what char should I lvl up? should team up?

Pls help me with my covers.. i want to jump now from 1* to 2** since my 1* chars are in max lvl now....i have lvl 40 thor, lvl 40 c.storm, lvl 22 a.wolv, lvl 13 obw, lvl 13mn mags, lvl 13 ares, lvl 6 daken..what chars should i lvl up? Team up? Pls i do need ur help...tnx..

    Given your choices....

    Thor would be good for offence.
    OBW is excellent support (good even when transitioning to 3*)

    for third....
    c.storm is very useful
    I don't daken myself, but wouldn't be bad with thor since you will be going after greens

    It's most likely you'll be directed to some extent by which characters you get the most covers for. All those characters are pretty good, even without the very best combinations.

    If you can level OBW up a fair bit, you might want to use Thor/C.Storm/OBW as your team -- while it's not the favourite combination (that's Thor/Wolverine/OBW) it's the one you're closest to being able to make work.

    The best 2* to level is the 2* you have the most covers for.

    Except Moonstone and Bag-Man.

    Thor will always be a favorite. He is going to let you get 3* covers eventually.

    OBW with enough blue covers will efficiently heal your team. Higher level, more healing. More health, more matches in tourneys.

    I don't know what covers you have for each of them, so, depending on your cover caps, a few suggestions:

    1. Thor + AWolv + OBW - this is my go-to: OBW provides stealing and healing. Thor + AWolv, between them, provide both small spam attacks and expensive big attacks for red and green. (cheaper spam: Thor red + AWolv green, expensive nukes: Thor green + AWolv red) Edit: also, AWolv green strike tiles + OBW's black at 4-5 covers = double-strike damage per black/purple/blue tile match. I'm pretty sure I've dished out up to 600 damage per black/purple/blue tile match at times.

    2. Thor + Daken + OBW - I hate playing against this team, because OBW heals/steals while Daken slowly puts out strike tiles every time I match green for my Thor and AWolv. Good on defense, i.e. when other players attack you in PvP.

    3. C.Storm + MN Mags + Thor/AWolv - Use Thor/AWolv to provide general face-punching. MN Mags purple ability generates blue tiles, feeding C.Storm's awesome Wind Storm. C.Storm's passive yellow discourages big hits until after your opponent downs her. C.Storm's green can also do some board-clearing. If you decide on Thor over AWolv and you're willing to risk waiting to accumulate a lot of green and blue AP, then you have an AoE monster: Wind Storm + Call the Storm. (much storm. so hurt.)

    But really, just make sure to have a hitter, only use MN Mags w/ C.Storm, and don't put MN Mags & OBW on the same team (both are blurple support chars).

    Well my c.storm now is 3/4/3, obw 2/2/3, thor 3/3/3, a.wolv 3/2/3, mn mags 3/1/1, daken 3/3, ares 2/2/2 & my iso is almost 10k..

    I personally love the Ares/Daken combo after the Thor/Wolverine adjustment. Ares can throw out plenty of damage when leveled up, and Daken will just make that even more. Some may disagree with Ares in favor of Thor, but that's my preference. For a third, you wouldn't be dumb by sending out OBW, for obvious reasons already mentioned. But whatever people you have fun with would be my final suggestion.

    I'd recommend Thor + AWolv + OBW, then. It's hugely popular for a reason.

    I've seen PvP opponents use Thor + C.Storm + OBW, too, though two of the team's most potent abilities, C.Storm blue and OBW blue, overlap.

    You can grab yourself another C.Storm Wind Storm cover in the Heroic event (aka Juggs event) if you manage a 200-400 placement.

    Buy a 10X Pack for a good event. If you can afford it a Courageous 6 pack is a great way to jump start a 3* team since they are all viable characters. The downside is that it is very expensive to do this regularly. So get one or do 6 packs, until you have 3 base covers for a guy you like, then you can buy the covers for that character later. If you don't want to spend a dime, you have to be very patient and wait for the tournaments to wrap around a few times. Doing SP campaign should net you a maxed thor and wolverine, which is a great 2* team even today. Add a OBW and you have a competitive 2* team. Long term you want to invest your ISO in 3 stars and if you spend too long in the 2* range you will regret it later.
