No event reward card?

Just sat in game as the nodes of power event ended. I ended up rank 15 in silver tier. But when I clicked claim rewards the game hesitated, then went to the upcoming event page without giving a card. Went to the activity hub and saw claim rewards there, so I clicked that. Again, there was a brief black screen then it went to the upcoming event page. Claim rewards is gone now. I checked my inventory but couldn't find any difference.

I finished 6th in Silver tier. Pressed claim reward and nothing happened as well. Was disappointed I missed out on top 5, but really annoyed at getting no reward at all.

Exact same thing happened to me twice in the last 3 events. Tried to claim and it jumped me to the "join the event" page. I joined and then nothing. Then the Activity Hub still has the claim the reward selection, tried to claim again and it jumped me to event banner page. Now the claim reward selection is gone, no reward card and no pack. 3 events ago I was 5th and the last event I was 16th both silver tier. 2 events ago, it worked fine. At least now I know that I am not the only one having the issue.
