I concur! Just remember to forget all that nonsense about Ghost Rider being good. icon_lol.gif

And now I have Shaggy and Janet stuck in my head. Thanks guys. icon_lol.gif

Long time listener, first time poster. Love the show.
As for Reed, I agree he plays well with Carnage. However, if playing PvE or SSim, I like to toss in Sue as a 3rd. If I can get Sue invisible, and have Reed constantly healing, it's kinda fun. Or instead of Carnage, I'll sometimes use 3* Daken. His strike tiles help with Reeds (unimpressive) yellow/black ability. Plus he heals as well. So I'll have Sue invisible with Reed and Daken healing.

This team is not all that powerful, just really annoying to fight, or so I'm told. Never have been able to find myself in the queue, no matter how much iso I spend on skipping. icon_e_wink.gif But that's just one of the fun little things I like I do. Like using Kamal, Dino, Hood/Carnage/Loki. Or Peggy, Teen Jean and Hood/Loki. Not super powerful, but can be annoying to fight. Your abilities cost more, Hood/Loki takes your ap, Jean gets rid of your special tiles and keeps you from match 5's while Peggy and Jean both have stuns.
(side note: I spent cp for Peggy covers. Of course it's been pointed out that I have an unhealthy obsession with Peggy, (see sig banner ). icon_twisted.gificon_razz.gificon_lol.gif Spending cp for covers is usually, but not always, a bad deal, unless you really, really want the character, then it's okay icon_e_biggrin.gif ).

As for 3* Deadpool black, (unless it's 4* DP, then ignore the this paragraph), just depends on your individual play style. Offensive would be 3 black. Defensive, 5 black is better. At least with my play style. Everyone plays differently.

P.S. tried to become a patreon, but it always says "sold out". So I assume I'm looking at it wrong or in the wrong place.

Always enjoy your podcast! I love all the mid-90's references for old guys like me. icon_lol.gif It's alluded to above, but one thing that you guys didn't mention on the pod that slightly helps Mr. Boombastic's Imaginaut power is that it "double taps" strike tiles in a similar fashion to OBW's Espionage, except that it affects all friendly matches in those colors. The base damage is terrible, but this can be a nice bonus with a teammate who places strong strike tiles.
Overall, I agree with the assessment that he is awful among 4*. Frankly, he doesn't stack up well with most 3*.

Hey guys, love the show and the fact that you are all about the same place that I am in the rosters. Makes listening that much more fun.

In regards to 3* Deadpool black being good at level 5, that is an extremely small window of effectiveness. The rest of the team has to have someone else tanking all of his colors to make it work, and unless there is a way to heal Deadpool in the other two, I just see it being finicky at best. Hrm, maybe I'll have to try it and see....

Please keep up the most excellent sponsor references and the feature character of the week. Any chance you can try to synch up the feature character with the upcoming Clash of the Titans? Just a way to make that information immediately usable for the listeners.

    Keep up the great show!

Another great show guys. Except for the part where you made me track down and watch the Mr. Boombastic video a couple times to get the song out of my head.

Have you guys considered talking to KD to see if he would be a guest? It would be interesting to hear his perspective/experiences with the game.

Im fairly certain that the listener that wrote in about Deadpool was just confused.

He's clearly talking about 4* Deadpool, their segment on the podcast was about the 3* version.

    Fun podcast icon_e_smile.gif

The best part was the guy (sorry can't differentiate the name) admitting that he didn't even know that shadow step deals dmg. icon_e_smile.gificon_e_smile.gif

Btw, it's called "Shadow step" and not "Side step".
  • Another great episode. Can't wait for the Monday Madness ISO Dump!

I haven't you guys talk about the Purple/Pink debate in a while but I'm constantly reminded of at my job in a casino. We have pink $2 chips. They are clearly pink and players refer to them as purple ALL THE TIME. I want to scream so bad THEY'RE PINK!

BTW If Deadpool says they're purple, they're purple.

    Keep up the good work.

Lots of deadpool confusion. Black is very important for 4* deadpool (especially during 5* transition since 5* match damage can trigger it regularly). Black is more or less useless for 3* deadpool being both too contingent and not strong enough.
