Which of these 4* should I keep?

In my queue I have six 4* characters but only enough to roster one of them. Some are expiring in a couple days. Which do I take:

-Carnage (red)
-Venom (green)
-Elektra (red)
-Kingpin (black)
-Howard the Duck (blue)
-Invisible Woman (yellow) (I know I'm not keeping her!)

    If you're going to pick just one Kingpin is the way to go. He's self sustaining, combos with Switch, Beast, and Falcon on the 3* end and works as a great battery for OML on the 5* end.

    Honestly looking at your roster I'd consider selling a few of your maxed 2*s. With 11 champed 3*s I can't image you're using them that much, and at 144 you're not getting any more rewards out of them. I'd keep 2-3 for the DDQ and then trade in the rest. The ISO would be enough to champ some of your 3*s and the slots would open up for your 4*s. Then it's just a matter of keeping one slot on rotation for the PvE required 2*.

    It's a good idea to keep as many 4*s as you can (even IW), since the 4* required nodes in PVE give out CP and are typically worth the most points.

    Though if you don't want to sell your 2*s, Kingpin is the best choice. Carnage makes for good defense in PVP since people don't like dealing with him, and can make grinding the low-level PVE nodes super quick.

    Thanks for the great advice! I will sell some champion 2*. I use the 2* for DDQ, usually Ares-Capt.Marvel-Storm or Ares-MNMAgs-Storm. I use OBW for the Big Enchilada because she's good at stealing tons of AP and slowing down CD tiles. But I can sell Daken and Hawkeye, maybe Wolvie too. I might sell Thor too, although when he's boosted he has a ton of health, like 10,000+ I think. Mind you, even then his damage is not as good as 3* Thor.

    The only 3* I can champion now are mid-tier: Mystique, Daredevil, Doc Oc, Capt.Marvel, Storm, Squirrel Girl, and Colossus. Should I champion some of these mid-tier 3* now or save my ISO for the eventual top-tier 3* that I don't have fully covered yet, namely: Black Panther, Patch, SWitch, Kamala Kahn, Hood, and Steve Rogers?

    The wise answer is to wait for those better 3*s to get covered and feed them. Most of the 3*s you have covered and not champed I hardly ever found use for even before going to 4*. With that said I'm in the minority and like Doc Oc, but he's strictly a PvE character. Though with Venom Bomb being the next PvE you might benefit from pulling him up. He's strongest against characters like Carnage and the symbiote goons, so if you have trouble with that event he could be a trump card. But he's terrible PvP.

    But yeah, Switch and KK should be top of your list, since they're both strong enough to see play in 4* land. BP, Patches, Hood, and Steeve will see a lot of play while you're in 3* land, but become less and less usable once you start moving up to 4*s.

    That definitely helps, thanks! I guess this means we can't predict what the essential characters will be beyond the next story then.
