It's getting old fighting classic Storm, Thor, and original Black Widow all the time in PVP. Oh, wait, here's a new team! Woops, nope. They just use modern Storm instead of classic Storm.

Ah well, here we go again.

    Seems like it's mostly Spidey, Punisher, and Patch in my MMR neighborhood.

    Play the game longer and get better and you will fight lvl 141 punisher hulk spidey repeatedly. :p

    Just j/k. A few characters are still over used but variety has steadily been getting better since the game released.

    Basically, the players use the best characters available to them. The way to solve the sameness problem is for the devs to improve the **** characters so there is a wider choice of good options.

    Soon you'll fight 3x85 teams with 3 of 4 same characters.

    But if you look for even less diversity just join the coming Divine kitties.

    My neighbourhood had like 6 people in it regardless of skips. I ended up victimising 3 of them down 100 points each just because there was nobody else to attack.

    It was like they were stuck in MMR hell as my victims.

    The problem is that by the time you have 3-4 maxed 2* characters, you are transitioning into 3 star. Which are tremendous ISO sinks. So, you never have incentive (or ISO) to max level other ones.

    The other larger problem is that half of the 2 stars are pretty garbage and the devs never did a great job in addressing that.

    That's happens to me all the time once I accrue some points in a tournament. The sad thing is I will vault 200+ points ahead of that person (I hit 2-3 times in a row) and they will STILL show up when I hit skip.

    Not trying to truly tank as Psylocke pairs rather well with Thor and I have 10 covers for her right now.

    And she's one of the usable characters in the heroic.

    A level 68 Thor in this tournament doesn't exactly shout 'HIT ME' either.
