When are you able to share boosts?

For the Face Book rewards. Is there an internal timer such as the daily reward? Or is it just a roll of the dice?

    It is random. I have been prompted to share 70, 140, 250 ISO, a few 1* characters left over while trying to get all prologue rewards and various favors of boosts both before and after the boost overhaul. Standard tokens occasionally.

    Never been prompted to share 2* cover rewards with anyone. I do not recall if I have ever been prompted to share 500 or more ISO.

    Some days I have the option to share three or four times. On other days the game decides that I am stingy and never prompts me to share.
