A bug in the Juggy Heroic Mode

I didn't start the Heroic Mode Round 2, but I have had 1302 pts already. Apparantly, it's because I played a mission in round 1 and didn't finished it before round 1 ended. The system just adds the points to round 2 and forces me into a bracket (probably the first bracket). I want to know if the devs are going to fix it (by reducing my points back to 0 and removing me from the bracket). I have sent an in-game ticket to the support team.

This is a very typical thing to happen going from sub event to sub event. 1st time I've heard it carry from round 1 to round 2 of an event. I can see the disadvantages this would cause even though that's a hefty start for 0 missions complete. Hehe

Same thing happened to me. I tried to race to finish one last fight at then end of round 1 and when it was over the round had already ended. But when I started round two I got a lot of rewards popped up on the screen and like 1000 points. Kind of balanced out because I used a lot of boosts in the previous battle so I could try to finish the match fast enough.

Moral

On the upside, you're in a bracket with all accidental last-minute players, not necessarily filled with early joiners.

I've never heard of anyone being removed from a bracket, except for those kicked to their own, private world. Even then they show as part of the bracket, but not the leaderboard. (1002 players in a 1000 bracket)

You might have to accept that a fix may not be possible within 48 hours.

I'm curious how/why this didn't happen to me since I too finished a match late trying to secure placement.

Weird that some of these more prevalent bugs don't affect everyone consistently (I had never received an incorrect token either).

And I was part of the first placers in the last pvp to not get the correct iso-8 amount so I'm not completely immune.

I finished within 30 seconds of event end and did not have it happen. Perhaps it's only effecting those who took an even longer time like 2-3 minutes after tourney or something.

I don't think D3P will pay attention to a bug that only affects a small part of players. Forcing into an early bracket means one has to grind to win. Even though these 1000 players are accidentally forced into the same bracket, it doesn't mean everyone is a slacker like me. Most players know the first time completion bug, thus intentionally do a time-out mission. Anyway, as a slacker, I will just grab the first time completion ISO and then sit out if this round, since without a healer grinding is costly.

Moral

I think the rationale would more likely be that nothing is preventing you from competing within that bracket.

Of course, some players start with more points than others. You're a lot better off than I would have been as my last fight was the solo 19 jugs for about 100 points.

When episode 2 started when you already had your points were you still able to complete the very 1st lvl 150 jugg mission? Typically if I get the match carry over bug it completes the 1st mission in the next node. If it did this to you then you lost the reward for that mission since it isn't repeatable.

WTH? I just logged into MPQ (3rd time this AM) to see if LR was there and started getting popups. Now I have 1300 pts for Juggs Heroic and placed in a bracket. So much for slacking off for another day. I too finished a match a min late last night. Weird that bug hit so late.

I finished a mission slightly too late (probably within 30 sec of tournament close). Best I can tell I was not slotted in to a bracket early in Round 2. At least, there was no bracket information before I started during lunchtime and once I had a leader board it was only a few thousand at the lead.
