Level 270: HP: 11006 Tile Damage:
Static Agility - 9 AP
Gambit uses his potential energy to increase his agility and speed to navigate enemy attacks.
Randomly place a shield tile (value increases with covers and levels). Convert any 2 non team-up tiles within 3 tiles of shield tile into charge tile including enemy special tile (shield or attack).
Level 2 - Include strike tiles
Level 3 - Convert 3 random tiles.
Level 4 - Include traps and invisibility.
Level 5 - Convert 4 random tiles.
King of Hearts - 13 AP
Gambit puts his potential energy into a card and throws it
Destroy a tile and do 677 damage plus 444 damage per charge tile within 1 tile of destroyed tile (destroys charge tiles)
Level 2 - 677 damage plus 488 damage per charge tile within 2 tile of destroyed tile
Level 3 - 834 damage plus 599 damage per charge tile within 2 tile of destroyed tile
Level 4 - 834 damage plus 612 damage per charge tile within 3 tile of destroyed tile
Level 5 - 999 damage plus 699 damage per charge tile within 3 tile of destroyed tile
Max Level -
Destroy a tile and do 837 damage plus 999 damage per charge tile within 1 tile of destroyed tile (destroys charge tiles)
Level 3 - 999 damage plus 1399 damage per charge tile within 2 tile of destroyed tile
Level 4 - 1212 damage plus 1812 damage per charge tile within 3 tile of destroyed tile
Level 5 - 1455 damage plus 2415 damage per charge tile within 3 tile of destroyed tile
Southern Charm - passive
Gambit uses his charm and wit to distract the enemy while he does a little slight of hand.
Every time the player fires a power, steal 1 AP of your strongest color. If no AP gained, create 2 1-turn CD tiles that turn into charge tiles from random basic tiles.
Level 2 - countdown tiles become 3 x 1 turn
Level 3 - steal 2 ap of strongest color
Level 4 - countdown tiles become 4 x 1 turn
Level 5 - steal 3 ap of strongest color

I'd like King of Hearts more if the damage from nearby Charged tiles was always pretty high.
Southern Charm is like a highly expensive, awful version of Star Lord's red.0 -
reworked yellow power, what do you think @erikpeter0
-
Still too expensive, but not a terrible idea.
How about:
Southern Charm 5 AP
-
Gambit starts talking sweet, and his enemies feel compelled to listen--once the effect wears off, they won't appreciate being manipulated! Creates a Countdown tile that drains 1 Yellow AP from both teams each turn. If your team has zero Yellow AP, the tile becomes an enemy Attack tile of Strength 240.
Level Upgrades
Level 2: Enemy Attack tile Strength drops to 145.
Level 3: Increases enemy AP costs by 2.
Level 4: Drains 1 enemy AP from a random color each turn. Enemy Countdown tiles do not activate at the start of the turn.
Level 5: Increases enemy AP costs by 3.
Actually looking it over I think it might be too crummy on defense--after 2 yellow matches he'll spend 5 AP to steal 2 Yellow, 2 Random, then create an enemy attack tile. It's not too bad, honestly, but since also the enemy can just match it away... Maybe could make it more permanent (like Nightstalker) but create the tile after it's matched away or destroyed.0 -
What about this:
Charm - Gambit steals AP.
See below for old power, updated the original posting with new Yellow.
previous version below:
Southern Charm - 11 AP
Gambit uses his irresistible hypnotic charm to befriend the enemy. Making it more difficult for them to fight against Gambit and team. However, enemy is more aggressive after realizing they've been manipulated.
Create a countdown tile of 3 and place it on the board. While on the board AP costs for enemy to fire powers increases and no enemy countdown tiles trigger (they will hold at 1 until Southern Charm is completed). Creates an enemy attack tile.
timer 3 - attack tile 120 - AP costs increase 1
Level 2 - timer 4 - attack tile 145 - AP costs increase 1
Level 3 - timer 4 - attack tile 156 - AP costs increase 2
Level 4 - timer 4 - attack tile 180 - AP costs increase 2
Level 5 - timer 5 - attack tile 240 - AP costs increase 30 -
Pretty interesting. That passive would be pretty annoying to play against if you shared the same strongest color. But there is counterplay, just don't collect any AP in their strongest color.0
