A bugfix / enhancement that's not received much notice as far as I've seen, but is a fantastic improvement to my gameplay experience.
MTGPQ is a mobile game. So I play it on my mobile. My life is filled with frequent interruptions of unpredictable duration. Sometimes I'll have to pause a game while at work, and only come back to it that evening when I'm back at home. Also, my WiFi connection at home is pretty spotty; sometimes I'll have to switch from WiFi to mobile data.

It used to be that any absence for more than an hour or so would get you "logged out". Which means, for example, at the end of an epic game against one of the huge powerful bosses, rather frequently I'd see "Submitting result"..."Logging in"... and get kicked back to the front screen, with all my progress lost. Exceedingly frustrating, as you can imagine.

But now the same sequence goes "Submitting result"..."Logging in"..."Submitting result"... and the result is processed!

So thumbs up to the devs who fixed this workflow enhancement. Makes a huge difference to me. Many thanks!

Yeah, can confirm. That was a regular problem for me too. Thanks very much!

Still more than half the time a phone call closes the app and it counts it as a quit match. Glad they fixed the server time out for while the app stays open. Still think they need a "return to match in progress" option when you open the app. This could even help with the red PW freeze bug by giving them a kickstart when you reenter match.
