Its not like the event has a limited point system ir a screwy tie breaker system that seems to screw hundreds of people but COME ON already. Please fix the darn freezing mid match. There is nothing more frustrating that hitting all the objectives for 8 points just to have the game freeze as you deliver the game ending attack. Pleae fix this already.

A number of us players suspect that the main lockup in the game is caused by the AI player trying to cast Devour in Flames:

If you avoid playing any red opponents in the Events (you can do this by quitting out of a node and re-entering) you *should* notice less lockups. Also, it would be helpful if you could post in that thread if you *do* see the AI player successfully casting a Devour in Flames, because then we can rule out that that is the problem.

Also be aware that there is a common black lockup in the game, caused (sometimes) by Prized Amalgam being respawned out of the graveyard.

To try and ensure no lockups in the current WRB event, I am only playing against mono-white decks... it's working so far.
  • I've heard that about red players but I was playing a black deck. The game froze at the end of my turn when the AI regained control of a creature I siezed using malevolent whispers. Third time I used it that round but it froze on that last time.

Red freezes the match. Ok avoid playing against it.
Black can freeze the match. Ok avoid playing against it
White can abuse runaway. Ok avoid playing against it
So you can safely play against.... Nothing
This Pvp event you have no escape!

This game has been plagued with freeze/crashes since it's birth. I've been playing since December and the only advice I can give, and it does work, is to play two matches and then close the app and reload. I have gotten in the habit of doing this and I have not had a match freeze/crash when I do so. Sometimes I gamble and try to play three to four matches consecutively and I usually regret it.

I restarted the game after every match in the last event and gave up after five freezes. Your mileage may vary, but in my experience, restarting is a placebo effect on newer devices. There may be a memory leak that this helps older devices avoid, however.
