Simulator (2016.08.18 to 2016.08.21) Bracket Size___________

You don't join a main bracket until you select an end time. The amount of people in your bracket should be in a red band above the black band that states how much time is left in the event. It is easiest to just check the last post in the thread, to see what the latest info someone has provided. If the time zone settings in your user profile are correct, you should be able view the time the person posted, to see how current their info is. There is a possibility of multiple brackets filling side by side, so join a "fresh" bracket at your own risk.

Useful info to provide

1)Time slice you are in
2)Current amount of people in bracket
3)Leader in bracket with amount of points
4)Time you joined the event, if it was not right before posting in the thread.

Full bracket = PLAYERS: 1000

    And just joined slice 1 vet at #194.

    update: 10 hours later slice is full, sorry was at work so really no idea what time it filled.

    Stuff like this is why I Think it's simpler to just make a new post whenever I have new information instead of editing the old one. But to each his own obviously.
    Looking forward to more status updates on slice 2 and 3.

    I don't see that as a particular problem. I usually just post when I have something interesting to report though (like if someone asks...). I'm no fan of spamming threads either, so I figure I just post when I have something worthwhile to share.
    But, as I said: to each their own. I like the time stamps of the new posts, that sometimes gets lost in edited posts (and it very often gets reported in a time zone I am not familiar with...).

    Just make a new post so it appears in sequential order. Going back and editing a prior post throws people off as they are typically just looking toward the last post(s) for a particular slice. Also, us talking about posting etiquette is probably best done under another thread and not a bracket thread?
