Another who should I level up / Team for PVP

Hi experts,

I'm in 3* transition and would like advice about who should I level up. My roster (just updated) is in signature but to sum up, these are the 3* that I have most covers, the others have 6 or less. I just don't have Bullseye, Colossus, Loki, Psylocke, Ragnarock, Sam Wilson, Sentry and She-Hulk. Already maxed out Fist, Panther is 140 now, the others are 127 or below. I have all 2* championed (from 105 to 130) except for Moonstone and Bagman (don't have them). Have 200k ISO and I'm quite confused in which ones should I put them.

13 = Iron Fist, Gamora, MoStorm, Patch
12 = GSBW, Quicksilver
11 = Panther, mThor
10 = Cyclops, Hulk, Captain Marvel, Daredevil
8 = Blade, Mystique, KK, Torch, Doc Ock
7 = Punisher, cMags, IM40, Hood

1. What are the best teams I can form to play PVP?
2. What about combined 3* and 2* teams?
3. What are the best defensive team I can have with those options?

Cyclops, Blade, and Kamala should all get iso.

Thanks for the tip! Cyclops and Kamala were at their max possible, I was in doubt about Blade but put some iso on him.
What about MoStorm and Quicksilver, they worth it? They are ok for PvE but don't know for PvP

I think MoStorm is bottom tier. Her skills work against each other and are relatively lacklustre even when you get to play them optimally. Quicksilver is ok. There are a few that love him, he does require a lot more attention to use correctly and can certainly do well.

Thinking about it, you're right! His blue is a great AoE but sometimes the board doesn't help at all.

From that list, what team do you think is the first option? I'm playing with Fist/Panther and adding Gamora on the SSIM, mainly for her red. I like GSBW but sometimes she is too slow.

If you're just looking for a team for Sim out of the list, I'd look at IF, Gamora, BP. BP and Gamora both options to buff IF's attack tile with their strong strikes. Gamora cheap red also takes advantage of this. BP has the AOE nuke and a bit of support as the only blue in the team.

You could also look at IF, Cyclops +1. All of Cyclops powers are super strong, (you can fit him into teams with any configuration) and IF's purple feeds his black. You're lacking blue users primarily, DD is an option in 3*, 2* Storm worth looking at with them also.

Since you've champed and leveled higher a couple of your 3*, your 2's are well on the way to irrelevance. But obviously there are a few that will pull their weight for a while yet, namely OBW, 2*Thor, MNMags and 2*Storm.

Cyclops adds an interesting strategy, I recently got one yellow cover (have just this one, unfortunately) so can feed his red too. I was thinking about this missing blue user. DD and Quicksilver are ok, but I have also cMags (currently 2/2/4), has only 8 covers, think he can be an alternative for BP while I'm struggling to get more SWitch cover. Another option is Mystique (currently 2/4/2), her blue can also feed IF purple and IF/Cyclops black. What do you think?

About 2 * irrelevance, I can see this happening right now. Basically, I just use Torch, Caps, Bullseye, Ms. Marvel, Hawkeye and Wolverine when they're essentials or buffed, so I'm keeping them for the rewards. Or they'll be the first selling option if I need a roster slot.

Have another question:

About those 3* I don't have (Bullseye, Colossus, Loki, Psylocke, Ragnarock, Sam Wilson, Sentry, She-Hulk), should I get any of them? For what I've read, basically Loki main use is to pair with Patch. Now I regret solding him in the past... Never had Psylocke and Sam Wilson. Had the others before but sold them for getting stronger 3*.

Or should I start rosting 4* covers instead of worrying about them? During past days I got IMHB and 4* Cyclops from Heroic tokens, so this came to my head, even knowing I'm too far from 4* land.

Loki and Falcon are useful. The others can be skipped unless you have lots of roster space or really like the characters. Always roster the 4 stars if you can.

Roster slots are quite rare in my case but I'll try to roster both.
I'll try to roster the next 4*, especially the top ones! I was too lucky to get IMHB and have one spot, I just need a few HP to roster Cyclops.

What sould I do if I get extra covers for a 3* that is already complete but isn't a champiom yet?

During the last days I got 2 GSBW (13d) and 1 Patch (13d). I know they're very few to justify leveling them to max, it'll take long to get a 4* cover from the rewards, but should I level any of them to get at least a LT? I've got enough ISO to max only one of them now, still have 13 days to gather more ISO. Another thing, looking at DDQ calendar, I'll get the 13th cover for Hulk in 6 days.

Should I max any of those or should wait for more covers and put ISO on top 3* first?

Yes, I would champion GSBW.

If you have champed her amd haven't respecced her yet, I'd recommend 535 as the best build.

I haven't champed yet as I didn't use her, I will for this CW event. Thanks for the advice!

In fact I was thinking about this, just champed IF, don't know what is the best build, maybe 3/5/5? What do you recommend for Gamora?

Yeah, i normally run Iron Fist 3/5/5
Haven't used Gamora much - if she is tanking lots of colours, 5 in black is brilliant. I tend to run her 535, but someone who has used her more can give you better advice.

If she tanks green and black over your Iron Fist, they can be a very powerful pair I think (and in the above configuration?)

Yeah, they pair very well and it's excellent when she's boosted. Although I'm running her on 3/5/5, using 5 in green is pretty good too.

Sometimes I change their configuration according to the team. Mainly I'm using these characters Iron Fist / Black Panther or Classic Magneto / Cyclops or Gamora for PvP, also mixing those with 2* and boosted characters.

Still didn't use GSBW on PvP, think she needs someone to feed her purple to be more effective, and I don't have one yet, need more covers for SWitch.

Hey experts! Have another question for you!

I managed to roster Falcon just before his DDQ a couple days ago.

Have Kingpin (13 days) and Ant-Man (6 days) in queue, but also Loki is the 3* reward in Hotshot event.

For now, I have enough HP to roster just one.
- Should I make the effort to get Loki and try to get more HP to roster one of the 4*?
- Or just forget about Loki now, roster one 4* and try to get more HP to roster the other one? Which 4* deserves the spot?

to me loki is a core group guy. I'd make sure to roster him and get his green covered as soon as you can. its a very good ability.

I agree with Moose, Loki is the better character for you where your roster is now.

I would roster a 4 star. It won't be that hard to get another Loki later. Both Kingpin and Antman are pretty good.

I do agree that Loki will be more useful right now than the others, it's just a waste to sell any of those 4* atm.

I'll try to get the most covers from the event.

Probably I'll be able to roster only one 4*, who should I get, Kingpin or Ant-Man?

I'm not planning to get the others 3* (Bullseye, Colossus, Psylocke, Ragnarock, Sentry, She-Hulk), so for now on I'll focus on maxing the top 3* and try to roster all the 4* I'll eventually get (still hoarding LT and CP, didn't spend them), what do you think?

The consensus seems to be this: start opening LTs only after having 10~15 3* champions, right?

Regarding 3* - Ultimately, you'll want to roster all of them as each one you don't have means that you can't complete the Deadpool daily (DPD), which is 2k ISO, a taco token and a 3* cover you miss that day. Of the ones you haven't rostered yet, there are some good ones, (She Hulk and Bullseye particularly) but by the time you have them max covered you will probably be moving on to 4*, so it's more about the DPD than how useful they'd be in a match.

Re: tokens - There are a few different ways to approach, but recommended is to not open tokens if you can't roster a new character. This means you don't waste any covers for ISO. For me, I have low willpower and open everything straight away. I've dropped money a couple of times for HP for roster spots in a pinch, so if you're FTP this might not be an option.
