Hi guys,

I play this game incessantly. So much so that the wife thinks I have problems.

And she's right -- I could use, oh about another million ISO to level-cap my 3-stars.

I generally finish in the top 10 of PVP events (except maybe the ones with IM40 prizes...), top 5 if the covers are particularly desirable, with top 1-2 not being unheard of.

I'm on day 143 (six days to **** Wolvie!), post semi-regularly to the forums, and lurk super-regularly.

Rosterwise, I'm a "toss a few levels at whomever is buffed" kind of player, but here are the highlights (skill-capped in bold):

basically, I get to heal myself whenever I win a match, which lets me play tournaments without being limited due to Health Packs.

I'm at Day 135, only missed a few days during vacation without my tablet, probably won't ever happen again.

128 Iron Man: max level of 5/5/2; the 2 allows me to keep Recharge cheap, I get 9 Red and 9 Blue for 8 Yellow.
113 Spider-Man: at this level, OBW is still better than Spider-Man in Blue and Purple, so she can still steal those colors with Espionage.

I've also got some ISO saved for when Spider-Man finally gets nerfed, lol.

HAHAA allorin, dont feel bad. I only have so many C. magneto because during the snow storms here in Atlanta Ga, i played the hell outa some magento lightning rounds and tanked the rest of them to keep my mmr down. I wasnt working from the snow + I'm a loser with no social life cause all my friends have babies and dont do sh*t anymore = A LOT of puzzle quest. In fact im so addicted that im going to mexico next week and made several phone calls to resorts to make sure they have internet poolside . Anyhow, i placed top 2, 3 times in a row to max out my C. Magneto, but thats the only strong *** i have, but despite that, i guarantee you, you guys pic me up and i'll add a good amount of points to the team... If not, at the very least, i'll try to entertain you guys.

Dance? Hrm... I'm not sure that my dance skills are up to scratch. However, I would be willing to stand around awkwardly on one leg and cluck like a chicken for your amusement instead, will that work?

My Bagman is currently level 9, and I will take the bullet and spend iso to level him to 17, if accepted. It is a daunting task, but for you guys, anything. The rest of my roster is solidly 3***, I'm currently running 120 patch, 100 spidey + swapping in others as necessary.

Will call anyone whatever you want me to. Sir. Also willing to change my name by deed-poll, if required. *salutes lop-sidely*

I'm a regular forum lurker, been around since before the first hulk event... Currently transitioning to irregular forum lurker/poster. Will talk more if accepted.

Favourite cartoon... Hrm. Transformers. Gen 1. Specifically the movie. First time I ever heard an animated character swear. "Oh tinykitty, what are we going to do now?" Blew my mind as a child. Also the fact that the transforming suits that the humans wear would totally break both of their arms and their legs if they actually used them in real life.

As a side note, my play times are directly influenced by my family obligations, which means I can go from awesome to terrible in the space of a single child's scream. Just sayin'.

In the 1st alliance event we finished 8th, and considering we only had 12 members for most of that tournament, it was a fantastic effort. Guy for guy, if the points were based on averages we would have finished in 2nd. But that’s where this gets interesting as we play for fun. We are not a “kill everything that moves” kind of alliance. We have fun together, joke around and enjoy each other’s company (everyone except HailMary, nobody likes him)

I'd be interested in a spot, if you folks will have me. Still working on my roster... as I was (gasp!) late to the OBW party. However... Punisher is up in triple digits now, and the last few tournaments I've been doing a fair amount better in, so I'm hoping the covers come rolling down.

Favorite cartoon? The terror that flaps in the darkness! The bubblegum that sticks to the shoe of evil! Darkwing Duck!

I feel ya on the OBW party. I had her absolutely stuck at 1/3/2, not a single new cover in sight, while I watched my AWolv and C.Storm go from 2 covers to max. I just got her to 12 covers at the end of Hulk. It's amazing how quickly she feels indispensable.

Good to see another anime fan. I never watched Naruto, but I'm a big Avatar, Shingeki no Kyojin, and Psycho-Pass fan, and am sporadically keeping up with Hamatora at the moment.

Spider-America, I definitely appreciate the drive you are showing. Strategically speaking, though, I think it might be a bit early in the tournament for you to shield at that score. You've got to beat no.4 in your bracket, though, please make sure to do that!

How does one make a ticket on that?

Hahaha, dlaw was a big advocate of that (as was I, but I'd be receiving the trickle ), but from a business POV, it doesn't make sense. It would greatly skew effective cover-drop probabilities... though with the new PvP 2*-cover reward structure... hmmmm.

EDIT: Wow, I didn't even look at the other names in Spider-America's bracket. Holy f---.

I've been impressed with Sword art online (second season coming, yay) + Log Horizon of late... Agreed that Shingeki no kyojin is awesome. Also really liked Hataraku Maou-sama!

I liked SAO. The ending episodes were a bit... too anime-dramatic, but the second season looks interesting (completely unrelated story, right?). Haven't heard of Log Horizon or Hataraku.

The first few eps of Space Dandy were hilarious, but the recent episodes kinda go off the deep end of weird.

It translates as "The Devil is a part timer". It's about an RPG End-boss Demon that gets transported to modern Japan. And then starts working at McRonalds to make ends meet.

I like it. The humour is very tongue in cheek.

Especially when the hero-of-legend shows up to kill him. Only to find that he has no intention of going home.

SAO's second season is related to the first one, the same people/characters are now playing a Shooter MMO, instead of a fantasy-related MMO. It looks like it'll be good. Can't wait.

Log Horizon is the same sort of story as SAO, people playing an MMO are now stuck in the game permanently. Gone very much the opposite way of SAO though, instead of them sure that there is an "outside world" it now looks like there is no "outside world" -- they were actually teleported to a world that mirrors the game they were playing, or something... Very much less angsty compared to SAO, players res when they die.

Oh, that one. I heard about that. There's supposed to be a lot of references to modern Japanese culture, though, so I passed on it. I generally don't watch slice-of-life anime. The closest I got was watching a few eps of Hoozuki no Reitetsu. That was quite funny, but too dialogue-driven for something I have to constantly watch subtitles for. Also, it's like The Office, but anime... and literally set in Hell.
