Thing in the Ice after being bounced

If I have a transformed Thing in the Ice (Awoken Horror) on the board, and my opponent bounces it (say, Harbinger of the Tides), it goes back to my hand. However, upon recasting the bounced card, it will automatically flip back to Awoken Horror, rather than starting with a fresh 0/10.
