Lilliana discard ability does not trigger madness

Playing vs Lilliana, when she used her first ability my madness card did not get discarded, my first card did, and no mana was added to my madness card (only 2 cards in hand).

    Madness cards can't be discarded though so it's working properly.

    I don't think that's the problem, why didn't the madness proc and give the card the appropriate mana for the discards?

    Sorry I only partially read at first. Yeah your madness cards should have received mana. Unless they intended madness to only proc from self inflicted discard effects.
