Me again. Questions about 4* and 5* characters.

So I'm still working on my 3 stars from my last post, but I recently had a LT from vip, taco tokens that gave me ant man, carnage, and 80 CP that gave me a yellow flaptain, pink rhulk, black spidey 5*, 5* cap. The LT gave me chulk so isol. My question is this. I was able to add the rhulk, ant man, and carnage covers. I had enough HP to slot spidey 5* and cap 5*. I can either slot flaptain as well, or sell him to max my patch. I've heard it's better to keep covers except for bad characters, but I've also seen that flaptain seems to be an annoying not very highly used 4*. He'll be my first cover if I slot him. The 1k iso I can make like nothing, but it's just knowing that he's a meh character has me confused on if I should keep him. I hear the same thing about 5*cap as well, but I'm only keeping him because when I eventually do hit 5* land, having some characters with covers waiting to be leveled won't be a negative. Thoughts?

The big problem with Captain Falcon is that he's slow. Divebomb does a heck of a lot of damage once you get it off though, and when things work out he can one-shot almost anyone.
Another problem is that he has shared a boost week with Thor, who has the same colors, so there's been little reason to use him. I saw a few Sam/Professor X teamups in PvP last week though, so he is certainly playable when boosted.

If you still consider yourself in transition and need to make a hard choice, I'd dump one of the 5* and keep flaptain. Reason being - his covers are relatively easier to come by, he'll unlock essential nodes in PvE whenever he's featured, and you start working towards his repeating Clash prize. A 1-cover 5* isn't going to do anything for you anytime soon. It'd be heart-wrenching to give it up, given the rarity, but the chance it'll have a positive impact on your play is a lot less than building the 4*.

Better option - open all your tacos and hope for the HP prizes. Or dump a 2* and rebuild it when you have the roster slot.
