SteamSlackers is a private 19 member alliance (planning on expanding soon.)

SteamSlackers was originally founded by a couple Steam players, but we welcome anyone who meets our minimum requirements and feels like they'd fit in. We're all regular players and some of us are daily players, but none of us are seriously hardcore. (Given that most of us are Steam players we don't have an organized presence on Facebook, so if you're looking for Facebook rewards this is the wrong alliance for you.)

Current admission requirements:

1: At least 8,000 points in Season 1.
2: Regularly get over 400 points in tournaments.
3: We try to check for applications in-game on a regular basis, but notification by PM is preferred.

Current rules for SteamSlackers

1: We expect you to play regularly, although not necessarily daily
2: However since tournaments are several days long we do request everyone get at least 300 points in tourneys, especially during Season 1. This is both because of the benefit to the alliance and the benefit of acquiring the elite token to you as a player.
3: We all have real lives and we understand if that sometimes gets in the way of competing in tourneys or events. However we do request that if possible that you notify us ahead of time if possible, or let us know afterward that you were busy. Not being able to play for awhile is acceptable, but if you don't score any points and don't say anything then after a certain point we have to assume you've given up on the game.
4: If you join the alliance and then later decide that you have outgrown it and want to move up in the world, notify us that you are looking for a new alliance. We promise not to boot you out before you're ready to go. We'd rather have warning and time to line up some new applicants than have an empty spot appear immediately before the end of an event.
5: We're all here to have fun, so be civil to each other in chat, no sexism, racism, or any other kind of discrimination.

We got rank #157 in Season 1 with 152,303 points, hopefully we can do at least that well in Season 2, and maybe improve a little!

Guidelines for Season 2:

C Rank: At least 300 points in tourneys and at least 5000 points by the end of the Season
- 300 points in a tourney gets you a Heroic type token. If you do at least that in every tourney you only need 1000-2000 points in SHIELD (not super hard) to get 5000 points and the Heroic 10 Pack. If you're not willing to put in the minimal effort to gain yourself those rewards, are you sure you really want to be playing the game?

B Rank: At least 500 points in tourneys, and at least 7000 points by the end of the Season
- 500 points isn't much harder than getting 300 points. You're not going to get hit a lot until you get past 600 points.

B+ Rank: At least 8000 points by the end of the Season.
- The average score in our Alliance for the regular players was almost exactly 8000 points the night before the Season ended.

A Rank: At least 800 points in tourneys and at least 10,000 points by the end of the Season

SteamSlackers filled up pretty quick, so since i had some HP to spare i decided to open up a slot. I believe the way this is supposed to work is that anyone can join who's willing to pay the 700 HP to open up the next slot in our alliance.

SteamSlackers did okay in the last alliance event (we got 1500 ISO and 100 HP, which i believe was the top 500 reward) and we're currently at #489 in the Simulator event. So if anyone thinks it's worth 700 HP to join a mid-tier alliance with no pressure to devote their life to the game, welcome aboard!

We really need more people if we are going to get good rewards. The way things are set up, we can get good results if we are many and mediocre.

I'm only a 2* looking to transition to 3* but would be willing to pay for a slot immediately if this is possible. (close on breaking out with Psylocke at 6 covers, and Hulk at 4 expecting to grab a couple more covers from the daily 80+ reward and the latest event)

I'm super active and find the game very engaging. Been scoring fairly well lately and assembling lots of covers from events

That means we are once again down to one open slot, so we're going to be a little more restrictive for the next one.

We got top #250 in Simulator (around #160 actually i believe) and we'd like to do even better in Unstable ISO. We've been bouncing between #160 and #200 in Unstable ISO, so we should be getting the third Human Torch cover, especially if anyone else joins the alliance.

If you're interested in joining you can meet any _one_ of the following three requirements:

1: Be willing to pay 1500 Hero Points to open up the next slot in the alliance.
2: Have at least 20k points in the Unstable ISO event.
3: Have at least one of the newer 3*s with at least 3-5 covers and moderately leveled up.

Again, we're not necessarily looking for hardcore daily players, but we want to see some evidence that you're putting in some effort into the game.

BehrClemons and Eroman707, since you have applied to the alliance without sending any of the commanders any kind of message, you are being admitted on a _probationary_ basis until you respond either in the forums or via PM so that we have at least some kind of communication channel going with you. Until that happens we reserve the right to kick you out in exchange for another player who meets our stated qualifications and actually expresses a verbal interest in joining the alliance rather than just mutely applying.

Hello, I saw your Alliance in the coordination spread sheet, and looking in game, it appears you still have 2 open slots.

I am currently in a small alliance, but am quite active. I am currently sitting at 3491 pts in Season II and a total of 73, 693 pts in the Simulator combined score.

I'm Shmidu and I am currently in a small public alliance looking to transition into a more consistent private one. I do both PVP and PVE and play regularly currently with a cover capped 2* roster transitioning to a more sizable 3* roster (have quite a number now around 5 covers each).

I'm currently at around 1.2k in PVP Season XI and can consistently pull 300-400 in events. I hit the top 10 in the last PVE Starlord event as well.
