A couple of needed alliance changes

First, the UI. Every time I open a slot I have twenty to thirty applicants waiting. The list needs to be scrolled when searching for specific names, but virtually every part of the screen becomes a button. Each applicant's name leads to their roster, and the accept and dismiss buttons fill the rest of the line. It is almost impossible to scroll the list without pushing a button and being redirected somehow.

Also, an in-game 'invite' feature is needed. If I am able to invite the specific people I am looking for, in the game, I wouldn't have to scroll the list of applicants at all. You could have a toggle in the player options that allows or disallows alliance invitations at the player's preference, so that TheLadder and WalkYourPath don't get spammed.

It has been quite difficult to coordinate finding people from the forums and connecting them with their in-game identities amongst the sprawling list of applicants each time a slot opens. I think we lost a couple of members we really would have liked to have because of this.

  • If nothing else at least make the pending requests show at the top of the list. That way I don't have to scroll down to dismiss every single one.

Agree with a lot of the above. If I need to do 15+ dismissals, it gets to be a pain, since I almost always end up clicking on somebody's roster by the time I actually scroll all the way down.

It also suffers from the 'If there are a lot of items in the list, then it goes incredibly slow' problem like the rewards screen.
  • Can the commander see the activity of the team member? Like last log-in or total points in a tournament? I think that would be a must if you want to maintain an active roster.
  • At the moment there is no way to see the activity of individual team members, which I don't think is a big issue. You have to coordinate outside of the game to keep tabs on your mates. Be communicative. Make sure they let you know their scores and activity. If you don't trust them, or want an extra layer of security make sure they post screenshots.

I like that organized, coordinated alliances have this advantage over random public 20's.
