Unexpected interactions.

I run the wonderful From Beyond which has saved me on many occasions and is always a welcome draw.

Until my opponent cast Khet. Who ran into the scion, gave me three mana, and him a 2/2zombie, that sac'ed to Khet and made him bigger. Repeat each turn although at least he didn't always get the activate - instead the zombie got bigger.

I only won when UC finally turned up, with sufficient buffs to eat all the zombies.... long game. Normally lilliana is toast to this deck, but this one instance just didn't go smoothly.

Anyone else encountered unusual hiccups in otherwise smooth functioning decks? Might be even more common now that we're trying less common cards for mastery.
