Someone in my bracket got a game against my Ob Nixilis deck, which I'm not even playing.

Meanwhile, I'm just about to enter my 4th Kiora matchup in 21 games...

The gold bracket only has about forty total people in it. I started very late but hopefully will reach top 25

How do you know any of this?

Because I started nine hours late I started in 37th position. I only have like 15 points now and almost top 25. I can still see the bottom rankings as well

    Ok, that, I can understand.

But what about the past matches? How can you know someone faced a particular deck of yours?

Oh I didn't post that part... My guess is that person had a buddy playing as well or two accounts

I happen to be in the same bracket as a few people in my MPQ facebook group. I don't think you can get that info from within the game.

I can second that about the decks. People have faced my Jace, lilliana, chandra and nissa decks. I am not using any of them for the event.

I have faced 6 Kioras during the 30 fights so far

Ouch! Personally I think it's a little rough to have to face an above average number of Kioras because IMHO I think she's OP...

She's pretty easy to deal with if you use Ob Nixilis!

Got a decklist you'd care to share?

I'm still missing some pretty key cards like Grip of Desolation and Ruinous Path, but the idea is that you want a few removal spells to deal with whatever creatures your enemy can put out, cards like Smoldering Marsh to help his poor mana gain and charge loyalty faster, and cards that help you draw cards to burst them down after Ignite. You can also use Priest of the Blood Rite if you have it just because it's so good, especially on someone like Ob who doesn't easily run out of creature slots.

That doesn't sound to me like the kind of deck that could deal with a From Beyond and a Thopter Spy Network in play at the same time....

The card draw from those just makes the Ob Nixilis kill even faster. You only need to kill the thopter tokens every third turn or so.
      * Important cards Grip of Desolation (U) Unholy Hunger (R) Transgress the Mind (U) Read the Bones (C) * Nice cards Priest of the Blood Rite (R) Smoldering Marsh (R) Sunken Hollow (R) * Mediocre cards Orbs of Warding (R) Pathway Arrows (C) Drana, Liberator of Malakir (M)

I've had Scour from Existence, Weight of the Underworld, Languish, and a few other cards in those last few slots. If I had Painful Truths or Ruinous Path, then those would easily go into the "Important cards" list.
The Orbs of Warding "combo" with Read the Bones and the first and second Ob ability is cute, but it isn't terribly important for winning with the deck. It can help reduce the total damage you take for quick battle purposes though.

Whoops. That might have been my deck.

Funny thing is, I was playing Kiora with From Beyond and Thopter Spy Network against a brutal Ob Nixilis deck and nearly got clobbered. If a human were piloting Ob Nixilis, I would have been dead. This Ob Nixilis had Transgress the Mind, Infinite Obliteration, Ruinous Path, Despoiler of Souls and every other kill spell you can think of.

I agree with the other poster. Just keep killing stuff.

That was probably mine. I've seen your Garruk deck a few times across the last few nodes. I think it's trying to do some power pairing. I don;t think I've seen a deck from someone outside of the top 10. The leaderboard is kind of odd because you don't know how many plays someone still has available. Someone may be way behind but have 15 plays stored up and will launch up the board when they wake up and clear them.

Three times I had to fight your Kiora icon_razz.gif You took my own Kiora apart in no short order, but at least then I knew what was coming and made some drastic changes to Jace and Liliana for the next two matchups.
