Is it just me, or does the scaling feel really off on this one? They're just crushing me left and right.0
-
Last time I made max progression (54k pts) as follows:
Sub 1: 5 suboptimal clears, 3 essentials: total 10650
Sub 2: 7 suboptimal clears, 3 essentials: +26614 (total: 37264)
Sub 3: 3 suboptimal clears + a few nodes, 3 essentials: +16736 (total: 54000)
That's 15+ clears in 4 days, which was about average effort in my experience.
Now the progression target is reduced to 44k, so I expect less effort necessary even though I won't have all essentials, only 2.
My results:
Sub 1
4 clears, 2 essentials
8630 in the sub
9600 total
Sub 2
7 clears, 2 essentials
21911 in the sub
31511 total
Around 3 clears should be enough in sub 3 for max prog
Sub 3
3 clears minus one hard node, 2 essentials
12780 in the sub
44291 total
Stopping here because I'm way outside the top100 and I have no intention of grinding like a madman for peanuts
Overall: about 14 clears (2 essentials) for max progression (44k). Last time: 15 clears (3 essentials) for max prog (54k).0 -
i hate to say it, but the hunt wont be nearly so annoying without the clock. going for progression only and being able to spread florida over two days actually makes this a pretty easy event made even easier with venom having been taken to the vet for his neutering. the hunt may become one of my favorites with the new system. surprises everywhere0

At least some of the nodes have skipped all the way to deadly after 4 clears which seems excessive, besides that the boosted characters just aren't very strong with so many new ones in the 4* group.0 -

I haven't seen "hard" nodes in a long time - I'm getting hard after four clears in the hardest nodes.
Although that's "Hard" nearly level 400's and I have 450 Phoenix and....that's it. With no good boosted 4*'s (and PX/winfinite out for me) my next best character is sub-300, those "hard" nodes might as well be "darn near impossible". Doesn't seem possible it's scaled using your top 3/5 characters, scaling does seem really off.0 -
What team you guys recommend for "Let's Dance" . That team consists of Daken, Yelena and Moonstone. **** lol
3* teams would be great nice since all my 4* have 3 to 5 covers. Not really usable0 -
I would love to know what teams people are using for this event, it seems like almost everything is painful.0

I've been leaning on one of the old reliable pairs: IM40 + 3* Cap. Get Recharge out early and then pick someone to stun to keep them out of play as much as possible.
For your third in non-essential nodes, it depends on who you're fighting. Iron Fist is a solid compliment to IM40/Cap because he makes use of purple/black/green. Personally, I don't like using him against Bullseye (which happens a lot in this event) because collecting purple leads to a bunch of protect tiles; I've been using X-23 instead, but in 3* territory, I'd probably be using GSBW or KK as my third.0 -

Just use Switch / PX / Phoenix like any sensible person with a champed Phoenix.0 -
If Quicksilver is the highest boosted in your roster, try the following (from left to right) :
Ragnarok (3/5/5) + Quicksilver (5/3/5) + Prof X (5/x/x)
The key is making their powers spammable; Ragnarok red feeds Ragnarok blue and Quicksilver blue, Ragnarok blue feeds Quicksilver green, and then use Quicksilver black to set up match 5 for Prof X blue to fire (feeding Quicksilver black). Don't use Ragnarok's green power. Not 100% winfinite but worked surprisingly well.0 -

You are, of course, probably correct....you want to know something? I've never ever tried that yet. Hrm....
Someone asked what team - I've been using lots of Ice-Man (stun, aoe) and X-force or 3* Storm (to cover the black/yellow colors more than anything else, basically this character is just along for the ride but occasionally helpful).
If I was in 3* only I'd be doing tons of Patch/Storm.0 -
SnowCatt
Patch, Storm and who else would you run..I have a 2 cover GG, 1 Phoenix, 1 SS, then it's Groot0
