The trilemma of my vine

As I write this, my "vine" (as in the PW3 Dying on the...) has the following:

Two Psylocke
A 2* Steve Rogers blue (currently 5/2/5 while rebuilding)
A GSBW (currently level 182)

Also of relevance: I have about 50k ISO and a fully covered, level 188 Nick Fury. Both Psylocke covers dropped the day of her DDQ.

Do I commit to championing Psylocke? Hold on and try to get the Steve Rogers cover? Desperately try to max out Fury before his cover expires?

    Champion Psylocke if you like her since you have covers for her and add level for GSBW? Or completely ignore her and boost Nick Fury or X-Force Wolverine closer to champion doesn't matter because you have so many 5*s already does not affect much in scaling.

    I'm going back and completing everyone. but I have 10 4* champs and an oml and I'm happy enough with pvp scores, so figured I'd go back and finish things. looks like you're only 5 away from completing the 3s and I'm not sure how much fury and/or xfw would help you in pvp. they would be very expensive to max and really would only be marginally better than a boosted top-tier 3* (until their boost week, but that week will push your mmr up too). personally I'd do psylocke but I could see wanting to get that first 4 champed.

    I wouldn't worry about Fury. I have him champed, but only because I'm in 5* land (so I'm not reliant on my 4*s to carry me) and because I had six covers of him in hand, plus two more on the way via resupply. He's not strong enough to carry you.

    As for Psylocke? Eh. She's not terribly good, but she can be fun. I'd probably save the ISO until something better comes along.

    Steve? He's pretty lame, but if you're doing rebuilding cycles, I'd try to hold on until just before expiration, in case you get that last one to be able to champion him. But if you don't, it certainly isn't worth worrying about.

    Update: So, I went with the Nick Fury option, immediately dumping my ISO on hand into him. Then the Wolverine DDQ gave me an XFW cover I forgot was coming...

    I had no prayer of getting them both, so turned XFW into ISO. On Tuesday or Wednesday, I sold a 144 kid Daken to get the boost for Fury to hit 270, even though the GSBW cover still had a day or two before expiring. Finished collecting the 12.5k for the champ promotion last night... And got a yellow Black Bolt out of it.
