Color of 4* covers in DDQ Vaults

Forgive me if this question has been answered elsewhere, but I've noticed for the past several cycles, the featured 4* cover in the Vault has been the last/third color. Since this cycle is also the third, I'm wondering if the cover is now (or has always been) on a rotation based on the covert slot.

I think it's random. Once upon a time I was dumb and reset a vault a couple times, and the color of the 4* cover changed each time.

I may be wrong, but since the Thing vault, every cover has been the third color, including Mr. F's black.

Blue for me, which is perfect for my 5/4/4 Mr Dumbtastic. Thanks RNG - then again, I won't pull it anyway, I'm sure.
