You don't join a main bracket until you select an end time. The amount of people in your bracket should be in a red band above the black band that states how much time is left in the event. It is easiest to just check the last post in the thread, to see what the latest info someone has provided. If the time zone settings in your user profile are correct, you should be able view the time the person posted, to see how current their info is. There is a possibility of multiple brackets filling side by side, so join a "fresh" bracket at your own risk.

Useful info to provide

1)Time slice you are in
2)Current amount of people in bracket
3)Leader in bracket with amount of points
4)Time you joined the event, if it was not right before posting in the thread.

    Just joined slice 1 and it is at 865 people and the leader is edesipunz. I will update my post when it fills.

    EDIT: Go for it folks, slice 1 is now full.

    Is there any way to determine the size of the bracket you're going to enter if you're on the PC and using Steam? All I seem to get is "Pick an end time...." with no indication if you're going to be #50 or #998.

    Slice 3 vet now at 733, a little over 9 hours left in sub 1. Will try to update again before the end of the sub or when it gets close to filling.

    I'm in the S2v that started around 11p EST last night (thx Chipster!), and it's up to 283 people with 2+ hours left in the first sub. I finished my 4th clear this morning, which put me at 46th, and then beating one more node put me at 19th.

    Do you even get any placement rewards (from the day's sub: HP, ISO and CP) if you join but not play ANY match (due to lack of time)?
