Alt cheater accounts

Whats to stop a player from creating an alt cheat account then joining their legit accounts alliance and buying tons of roster slots before he gets sandboxed?

I suspect this is already happening but don't want to call out the alliance. How can D3 stop this? They can't exactly sandbox an entire alliance because that is not fair to the legit players.

oh, that explains what happened with that alliance
I was wondering about it myself
  • I actually tried that myself with the freedom app in android got sand boxed immediately before I could create an alliance

They can remove the slots again, probably. And then sandbox the cheating player.
If he creates a new alt; same procedure.

yeah, seems like it should be pretty easy to track what slots were bought legit and not legit. They should really keep on top of it though, possibly automate it. Because This could ruin the whole alliance thing all together.

Not factoring alliance size into placement is one of the biggest problems with alliances altogether. I'd go sofar as to say that in their current form it makes them broken by design.
