Hi,

I am writing this message coz i can't stand cheaters.
In my bracket the first one has EVERY characters maxed out.
Unless he spent thousands of dollars it is clearly impossible?
Please do not tell me that he could have earn all these characteres because it's clearly impossible.
What D3 is doing against that ? I can't see any communication about this subject.

As we pay continoulsly it's not just a game but a service !

  • Good news everyone!
  • He could easily be some sort of Saudi Arabian prince spending his daddy's oil money on MPQ.

Getting your characters maxed out isn't that difficult. I doubt there are that many cheaters. This game has been out since October. I've only been playing for the past 40 days, and a lot of my characters are at max. I haven't spent anything other than time beyond $20. I'd imagine there are many, many more people like me or greater.
  • Maxed 141s? It's fairly difficult without spending money.
  • I have two maxed 141's. I imagine someone could have four or five, maybe six if they were a true die-hard. If I saw someone with literally EVERY character maxed, I think I would be suspicious.

Rich people play games like this too.

Devs are doing something about it. Getting infinite iso and hp seems to be a pretty common cheat but devs can easily check if someone's roster is legit and will ban the cheaters in due time. If that leader is a cheater he will probably disappear from the leaderboards soon enough.

Report him. Talking about him here isn't reporting him, people here are people who either play the game, or argue about playing the game.

Go to the current PvP tournament. Look at the top Alliance which should be SHIELD. Those are the top legitimate players we know of. They have won everything worth winning, elite competitions and all and even they don't have maxed everything. The ISO required is simply phenomenal.
  • Couple hundred thousand USD worth of ISO right?
If it really was people like that with disposable income, they'd have lapdogs playing the game, before handing it back to them when its almost won icon_mrgreen.gif
They prob don't pay the lackeys enough for them to come into boards to defend them icon_lol.gif
  • I spend around 300 bucks on ISO and HP. Most during sales, so it was double value. excluding HP, it was around 200bucks for ISO.

my roster? 120, 110, 6x 85, a couple 60-40. all the chars. It would take I dunno... a couple thousands bucks to max all the heroes.
  • ummm, yeah im sure theres a bunch of cheating. couple threads up posted a pic of 18 slot team, both 4* and all 3* maxed out including 3* thor. Theoretically possible if you won 3 covers of him but someone already bought 10 covers and necessary iso? I guess...it would cost $500. I can see someone being a credit card warrior but doing it 16 times plus added cost of 4* characters? That's coming up on 10k! And if you did cheat that much, then really...what is the point of continuing on? You obviously don't need to finish well in tourneys and im sure they never lose...can't imagine what their boost page must look like, just to get really stupid.

Exactly, You'd be surprised on how much people will drop on games, and trust me I know (former game company worker). $10k and up is not too unrealistic.
I remember one guy who dropped over $30k on one of the games I used to be on the team for like it was nothing.
  • you dont have to win all 3 covers in past tourneys. If you started today, all you need is an event pack like defenders and use ill gotten HP to buy as many 10 packs as required to get 1 of each initial cover.

report anything suspicious is the best route currently. if they spent thousands d3 will know ^^

Banning used to pretty much negate any actions the cheater had taken (apart from lost points for people they hit), but with alliances they can now boost their team mates + only they will get banned leaving their alliance still receiving rewards. I hope the anti-cheat detection is able to detect cheating before the end of tournaments so this can't be exploited in this way. Getting beaten twice in quick succession by "misfit1182" with a 3* Thor in an alliance called "cheat to win" with other players with fairly weak rosters got me thinking about this consequence of alliances. It's possible that misfit1182 isn't cheating, but the level of every one of their characters is cover-limited rather than iso-limited.
  • that's crazy though, theyre not even guaranteeing a thor like they did with every new featured character ive seen in past two months. unstoppable pack sucks to buy. I feel like most people probly have max covers for cap and astonishing already. I wouldn't want hawkeye covers. those three are the ones you will get most often. really slim chance you miss thor but get psylocke or m40.
