Removing commanders from alliances

At the moment, commanders can't be removed from an alliance. So, if a commander stops playing the game without removing himself, the alliance is stuck with him forever. There has to be a fix for this.

  • They will come up with something, either have a main commander to rule them all or status loss after certain amount of inactivity time
  • I agree. One more level above commanders is needed,to moderate commanders.

    Motion seconded, we need an uber-rank for the teams to function smoothly. Every now and then we will need a way to get rid of a Commander, or just take away the rank from the player without removing him entirely and with the current way Alliance expansion is managed, a team may have pretty many poeople with a commander rank given to them only to buy another slot.
  • Agreed. As the leader of my Alliance I was initiating all convo's with new people on day one of our expansion. One blatantly lied to me, never bought his spot. Really pissed me off, not to mention he locked our roster until friend of mine spent hero coins to buy next spot. That is unfair. I don't care if it takes months. If I get power to boot him hes instantly gone.
  • And there should be a button 'resign commander' if there are other commanders. Currently one must leave and hassle with re-join to demote himself.
  • We urgently need some work in this area. There needs to be a role Above commander so that commanders are only kickable by 'leaders' and commanders can't kick leaders but can kick anyone else.

    The ability to rejoin an alliance after being kicked needs to be addressed ASAP (since a rogue commander can kick people and nobody knows who did it and these people are now permanently banned.)
