    I like it.
    • Adds a bit of an extra challenge to the game, especially for these 'Heroics'
    • Equalizes the playing field a little bit between the haves and have-nots (though 'haves' are still a little benefited)
    • Encourages a large breadth of characters to have
    • I get to use characters I wouldn't normally, because they aren't good in normal PvP situations
With the exception of Psylocke and FatThor (and MBW with Hawkeye which are pretty low level) your roster seem to be at good levels to cruise through. What level enemies are you getting if you don't mind me asking?

(and obligatory whatever for min 10 characters)
  • Scaling doesn't seem too bad in this event so far. I'm finding the fights doable though I don't come away unscathed.
  • That starting 150 Juggs scared me a bit... but he strangely had lvl 1 abilities at 10 ap with a borrowed 220 max covered fat Thor. The next fight he was lvl 26.

I am taking it easy, playing a bit at a time, getting half of my team slaughtered every other match. It's actually fun and netting me a top 30. Wow.

Ofc I will push hard by the end... but now it's just PERFECT. I'm honestly shocked.

Yeah the event doesn't seem bad at all I just don't have anyone levelled sufficiently for it unless you count a lvl 70 im40
Debating pumping ISO into 1* storm or 2* hawkeye or just saying scrw it and dumping more ISO into punisher/patch who are sitting around 130/120

That first fight is just to showcase how powerful Thor is. The Thor you were loaned is so strong that you can probably win by doing nothing but taking Headbutts.
  • Pylocke works like a charm here. Keeping her at 95 to allow OBW steal 3 colors in other events, and she still rocks.

well duh - but only if you a) paid for covers or b) got really lucky with pulls since you can only bring her to 51 with the covers that were available to be won...
  • Psylocke is hardly an overpowering presence once you start running into Jugg/Daken/The Hood, though she's certainly a valuable member.

Don't count on anyone on this roster being a one man team unless you've a high level lazy Thor.

I'm pretty convinced she was featured as placement prize 3 times. A pve, a "serious" pvp (don't remember), and in the lone star pvp. Just because mine is 3.4.4, I never buy covers and certainly did not pull 5 from event tokens icon_lol.gif
    51 is max lvl for 2 2 2 so...

At 95 she does an almost 700 damage for 6 black, very cost effective in this roster.

Easy tactic with Fat Thor and Psyduck:
stockpile black, red, and green (IM40 yellow also helps) - with Thor tanking most damage
Fire off 2-4 Psy red for nice strike tiles and extra damage
fire all blacks and thor's green, all benefitting the strike tiles for MOAR DAMAGE
finish off if anyone is still up, with some nice attack tile damage, improved by strike tiles, each turn.

    And it's nice for a change ^^

    This.

Psylocke "enhances" other characters. Up front, she is rather average. However, her strength lies in building upon another team member's abilities. Her strike and attack tiles play well with 3*** strike tile generators (Patch + Punisher), and Bewilder is her long-term wild card (has to be at 5 Blue to be truly meaningful in a significant way and a la Patch has to have a rainbow team created around that ability).

Her one current downfall is that she possess one of the strongest blue/black match colors in the game, which is going to put her on the front lines where attrition will wear her down quite quickly. Only Punisher (Black) and CMags (Blue) have stronger match colors than her. BP could tank those two as he has equal strength in these colors, but that would cause an awkward conflict on black between the two on attack skills.

I think this is a short term problem and in the long-run there will be someone who will be able to protect Psylocke from being on the front lines too often.

All that said, I can't help thinking about Bewilder stealing that "useless" 19 yellow for Modern Thor moving forward....
  • My Psylocke 3/3/3 level 89 and REAL underwhelming. Honestly, I'd rather have Cap lol. Burnnnnn

I kinda like it. Im using a lvl 25 3/5/5 cap and a lvl 1 3/4 1*BW along lvl 20 1/1/1 lazy thor and its been fun. I use cap's abilities against special tiles and because natasha never attacks she never dies, only stuns and steals. Lthor takes the beating and punches back.

I was getting bored using the same 3 without noticeing it before this event, save LRounds.
  • i freaking love it because it swaps things around and puts the ball in my court instead of the play style that normally works better, there's no doubt in my mind the red x-force wolvie is mine because my bracket seems to be full of people dependent on the same ole same ole.
