Smothering Abomination vs Murder Investigation

Posting this so hopefully you don't succumb to my lunacy. (emailed to tech support)

I was playing my black deck against a white deck. I had Smothering abomination supported with brawler's plate, sigil of valor and sword of the animist, with helm of the gods on it, so defender, flying, berserk and first strike. I had it reinforced to nearly 50/50. They were using murder investigation. So needless to say the match was going long.

Well it went too long i guess, well into 100+ rounds of neither of us being able to kill each other and the murder investigation card trigger froze over the board. Luckily i had been working on destroying my brawler's plate support and was able to end the match, otherwise it would have been unplayable. I could still move gems around but couldn't see the board at all.

Also, the card text on smothering abomination reads "destroy each of your other creatures and each but the first of your opponent's creatures" but will not trigger unless the owner has other creatures out. Might i suggest changing "and" to "along with". As it reads it could be interpreted to mean they're destroyed regardless of who has what.

Thanks, hope this helps. Pretty sure the problem was the trigger on smothering abomination destroying all his creatures and spamming murder investigation. Like I said it was WELL over a hundred rounds.
