whole column empty

So after making a vertical landfall (4 in a row) the column that vanished never refilled, it was strange. I was unable to get a screenshots but it persisted for 3 or 4 turns, then the game crashed when the opponent made a horizontal landfall, I think this might be because the game tried to destroy a non existent gem in the column.
