Freeze on First time play walk through

After fresh install/first play, When i start the game i cant get past "Tap here to see unclaimed covers" screen. Music plays and arrow at the bottom bounces up and down but points to nothing. The screen is unresponsive during this time as well. Have never been able to make it past this screen.
