Oops. Thanks aesthetocyst.0 -
Sub 1 results: 4 clears with 3 essentials, total (event) = 10065 points.
EDIT: clarified pt total to avoid confusion
EDIT: total after sub 2 = 34341 (+24276). I did 8 clears with 3 essentials.
EDIT: a couple of nodes into sub 3 and I'm over 35000. Stopping here, I deserve a little break0 -

Was wondering why my number was lower. Did you play through the first node 4 times as well? Timer kicks in that one after first clear, optimally you want to not play through that one 4 times right away.0 -

I did hit it 4 times in a row. I'm not doing it the optimal way. How many points did you get?
Edit: By the way, I'm referring to my total number of points after sub1, so that includes the main node. Strict sub1 results excluding that corresponded to 9995 pts.0 -
Maybe this is silly but I'm getting confused. From what I've seen people are saying it's best to run the event 4 times at the very start...? And then what? What is optimal? Because I keep reading that there's a few hours block of play at the end and start of a sub-event. Any help would be appreciated.0
-
Gotta say the scaling on this for the non-trivial nodes still seems to be a little wild!! A Rocket and a hard place - 5th run up against 287's seems steep to me!0

Basically, there is a timer that only starts when you finish your fourth clear. Ideally, you want it to start ASAP. Therefore, the optimal MO is to clear each node four times very quickly, then wait for the timer to regenerate points as much as possible, then before the end you grind everything down to 1. The information about the optimum line of play being a few hours at the beginning and a few at the end is correct.
This is of course different for the second sub, which is 48 hours long - the best line would be to hit each node 4 times, trigger the timer, wait for it to fully regenerate, then hit the nodes again once (to trigger the timer again), wait for the timer to regen again, then the final grind before the sub ends. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this!0 -
Anyone else seeing timers on the essential nodes on Sub 2 after the first clear? I didn't see the timer on the regular nodes until after 4 clears but I'm seeing a timer on the essentials.0

I'm on Sub 1, but only the Team-Up node with the yellow ring has a 24 hour timer after 1 clear. The Essential nodes with the red rings do not have a timer after 1 clear.
Now, if it changed from sub 1 to sub 2, that's quite unfortunate.0 -
I'm still on sub 1 and I'm seeing a 1 and a quarter hour timer after 1 clear. I'm also seeing the sub-event end an hour later than usual. I have no idea what's going on here.0
-
It was a weird amount of time. I went ahead and cleared them and got full points. So it must have just been a glitch in the matrix I guess. I seem to recall seeing this one time in the past now that really think about it.0
-
Mystique with purple feeders is immensely annoying. Especially if she gets her 12 black along the way. Even at level 110 (first node) that's nearly 6K damage.0
-
This event is easy with lots of goon only nodes. So people are grinding it like crazy. I was able to do 4 clears of each node within 2 hours and my 10 health packs was enough.
Do the highest nodes 4 times first so they regen points. So that would be essentials first, then go through beat the easy nodes once to get access to the hard nodes and then do the 4 clears for the hardest nodes, then the second hardest and so on.
The cool thing about this new system is that whoever is leading is likely to win the event whereas, in the past, if you are leading by quite a bit, you are likely going to lose or have a ton of grinding to do. This is assuming you will do the grind near the end.
I guess if people didn't clear a node 4 times to get the timer started and spread their clears but cleared the fastest, may still lose.0 -
I am a relative newbie, so forgive me if I ask a dumb question: on this 3rd day of the event, the sub-event is still Luck Be a Lady, which I thought ended yesterday. Is this because I need to complete all the nodes, in which case I will not be able to go further due to
misding required characters?
thanks0 -

The structure of this event is one 24h sub, then one 48h sub (Luck be a Lady), then another 24h sub. You can find that information in the first post0 -
That Storm essential node!
Mystique getting fed constantly. Infiltration! Infiltration! Shapeshift! Masterstroke! Infiltration! The board's practically nothing but before long. Cascade after cascade just lets her continue the cycle. Ridiculous!0 -

Your roster is slightly higher leveled than mine, but I've had success with CStorm/IM40/Hood. My only losses, so far, have been to the crash bug.0
