looting the same rares in a pack

First of all this is not a rant or complaint.
Tonight I bought a colorless card "big box" pack for 1050 mana crystals. There are 14 packs of colorless cards with 1 mythic guaranteed. In my first 2 packs I got nothing but uncommons and commons. In my third pack I got 2 consecutive rares, both Prairie Streams. In my next 11 packs I got uncommons and commons. Finally at the end I got a Pyromancer's Goggles, the one mythic I was hoping for icon_e_smile.gif. So my concern is that in the colorless card big box there are 22 possible rares. I consecutively looted 2 rares that were the same card. I don't do math or claim to understand the rng of this game, but it seems to me that looting the same rare consecutively in a pack is very rare. In addition to this instance, I have also placed in the top 10 of the colorless quick battles 3 times and every time my colorless rare card reward has been a Prairie Stream. Now I don't know if the rewards for the guaranteed rare card are supposed to be the same every time, but if they are not then this rng is rediculous. I should not have been given the same card so many times when there are 22 possible colorless rare cards available. I love this game and I want to continue playing and ranking in the quick battles, but if I get top ten again and my colorless card reward is another Prairie Stream then I will stop competing in the quick battles until I get see a fix to this possible bug.

    I have multiple copies of the dual land rares, about 15 in total, it's absolute **** but I've given up caring.
    I now expect a land as a colourless reward and am thrilled if I get anything else.
    it seems to me like in paper magic that some rares are rarer than others so to get dupes of the same rare in the same pack is probably not that unlikely.Dupe mythics which I have seen pop up in the forums, now that is crazy.

    since everybody is getting a lot of Gatewatch rares and mythics I also think they have tinkered with the drop rates again and lowered them, I haven't seen a rare from a free pack that's not a gatewatch pack for a long time

    How the frick hard would it be for the guys to code the game where it gives you cards you don't have in terms of Rares and Mythics? I know they want to keep the odds fair, but I had 3 Dust Stalkers come out of a Free Booster, a win in the Quick Battle stuff for Swamp Cards, AND in a Fat Pack in a row. I raged so badly. x.x

    Strange, I got Goggles as well ! However that was my 3rd one and is still the only colourless Mythic I have so I was very disappointed with the big box.

    you are looking at it wrong.

    say you loot a rare.

    the next rare has the same chance of being any other rare as the same one.
