Earlier this month we had Heroic: Juggernaut, which is also a 3 day heroic event with 3 24h subs. The max progression threshold was set at 43k points and it was pretty hard to get there. To get there, it took me:Sub 1: 5 suboptimal clears, 2 essentials: 12308
Sub 2: 5 suboptimal clears, 2 essentials: 14767
Sub 3: 4 suboptimal clears plus a few nodes, 2 essentials: 16004. Total = 43079.
This time, Heroic: DA requires 39k points for full progression. I'm planning on doing 4 or 5 clears in each sub, to hopefully score:
Sub 1: 11k - EDIT: sub 1 results: 9943 points, 4 suboptimal clears, 3 essentials.
Sub 2: 13.5k - EDIT: sub 2 results: 14965 points, 4 suboptimal clears, 3 essentials. Total: 24908
Sub 3: 14.5k - EDIT: sub 3 results: 14508 points, 2 full point clears + 4 nodes, 3 essentials. Total: 39416
Taking a brief look at the initial list of characters, a few observations:
- When at the same level as other 3*s, Vision never tanks and . Spiderman, Black Panther, Falcon and KK hit harder with , Thor with and . This should make Vision even less useful than he normally is. Here I'm really wishing the Vision bug wasn't fixed. Still, a Vision + KK + BP team could be decent, but probably not as good as KK + Thor + BP
- Black Panther, Kate Bishop, 4* Venom are the only non-1* characters using
- All powered-up 3*s are characters. In the 4* tier, 5/6 are yellow users and 2/3 in the 2* tier

Damn.. It's so f*cking hard with the limited roster.. I kept on cursing when I saw 4 silent pistol with each countdowning 1,2,3 and 4...all the 3*heroes need a lot of AP to trigger their powers. U are in hell grinder when the board is unkind to u... And this is only the first day.0

at least you have options here for cds. between peg and falcon and some board control with cyke this sure has better options than the last heroic. of course I have 2 champs here so scaling will be worse, but at least i'll have some tools.0

If the devs keep on churning out Heroics, could they at least spare some thought on designing them. Although this time the available heroes are good as whole, there's only viable black user (Black Panther). One could say that this a way for devs to sell health packs, but for me it just stinks of laziness and negligence. If the devs don't care about their product, why should I spend my money on this game.
Sure, the weekly buffed are the only available characters (in addition to essentials), so there are some limits but this could be worked out with a wise choice of reinforcements... two days in and no sign of black users. Apparently the wisdow is in short supply in dev's office.0 -

Stop the Juggernaut. It's... it feels SO insanely cheap that I can't use words to describe it without feeling like I'm ranting. The hard 1 CP sub node grinds through health packs. I lost Logan to a cheap cascade followed by -- say it with me -- Headbutt.
20,000 HP and you've given me two stunners, who are the exact same color spectrum. One black striker, mind you, he's best of the best at his level, but he's still the only one, so I have to build my entire team around him, and additionally, he shares two colors with the required four star.
Fighting cheap 1 star OP nodes is not fun. Watching the AI go 'win-finite' is not fun. I'm not discounting the need for a hard node to be challenging, I'm saying that a bunch of cheap powered, rainbow spectrum one stars is infuriating.

sub 1 goons were pretty easy. falcon/peggy (min 1 yellow)/damage dealer (I used 4cyke, but several options would work) slows them down, overwrites their tiles, you can match some away and eventually you get some ap to do stuff with. its pretty slow, but I went through without a healthpack first clear. loving peggy for pve even with just 1 yellow - just reinforcing my decisions to skip her in pvp.0

Given that he is going to be heavily over-leveled in pve and suffers no dmg reduction with less covers, they should just overscale a 1/1 Juggernaut rather than a more highly covered version so at least his ludicrous attacks are more expensive.0 -

My gosh how difficult this event is. Managed to beat all the nodes ONCE and then all characters were pretty much annihilated0

A heroic events with the current crash bug is not something I ever want to do again. Limited rosters with frequent random crashing is a health pack drain and more frustrating than it's worth. If I wasn't so close to the CP I would have skipped the last sub.
Fortunately the crashing seemed to mostly occur during banners and ability animations, so goon fights and grinding the trivials got me enough points (my legendary token was Elektra purple--underwhelming, but still needed). Otherwise, about 1 in 3 or 4 regular battles ended in a game crash, even with closing all apps and restarting my phone frequently.
Hopefully they fix this sooner than later...or at least others are having better luck.0
