Anyone else hate when Events go into the weekend?

I don't mind long events, really I don't, I just hate it when any kind of event overlaps into my weekend. When I'm at work and I have some down time that's when I usually play this game. It helps pass the time and it feels like im filling in the void during my shift. So monday through friday events are cool for me, but when a event spreads out into the weekend, I feel kind of cheated. I don't want to fill like I need to get to my phone so I can work my day around trying to maximize points for events on the weekend when im suppose to be enjoying the weekend. running to my phone to make sure i spend a hour and a half grinding points every 8 to 16 hours isn't my idea of spending my weekend relaxing or enjoying my days off. I say that because im now working a second job MPQ. No im not a top 10 ranker every event nor do I want to be as my main goal usually is just to get the 25 command points, ranks be damned. This Prodigal Son event is a perfect example of it though, i didn't play during the weekend and now im most likely not going to make the 25 cp goal, despite having put in double sometimes triple time on the nodes during the week.

Would it be possible for D3 to schedule events more workweek oriented? I know the work week isn't the same for everyone. Maybe they could come up with some kind of system that is similar to their time brackets. run duel events of the same type that cater to those with a monday through friday type deal and a 2nd that isn't. At least when they want to run 5 or more day events, or maybe just make events either 2 day, with another being 3 day, and some being max 5 day. Running weekend 2 day events as well.

well, there are current pvp and pve events ongoing every day of the week - all 7. so play when you want to and have fun doing so. don't feel like you have to do everything. that's when it becomes work. but there will be current events ongoing every day of the year.

No, but I do hate that I miss most lightning rounds due to work and wish there were some during the weekend.

I actually don't mind events extending into the weekend. With work it is often hard for me to find more than a few minutes at a time to work on doing a complete run through the PVE. At least on weekends, I can still go out and enjoy the weekend with just an hour or 2 break to clear PVE without any coworkers or bosses giving me dirty looks for being on my phone.
