Planeswalker abilities aren't all balanced (Jace needs help)

Obviously they aren't always power balanced, but something more specific:

Chandra, Kiora, Koth, and Nissa all have abilities that can help gain mana, and abilities that can push more damage to speed up the game.

Gideon and Liliana, while they can't get fast mana, have abilities that can help speed up the game (with +power and direct damage, respectively).

Jace's abilities can only slow down the game. All of his abilities buy more time, but that makes it really hard to grind with him. His ultimate is weak enough that I never even use it because it just does nothing most games.

I think Jace needs a new ultimate that can help end games at a faster rate. Perhaps take Architect of Thought's ability to steal a creature from the opponent's deck or hand?

    Or at least an ability to help push through his cards more. He can draw a lot, but has no ways to gain mana to cast what he draws. If he had an ability to make his spells cost less or something, that would be helpful too. As it is though, his ultimate is awful and I can't cast the spells in my hand.

    Jace to me is in the same(actually worse) place of Nissa.

    Outperformed by same single color planeswalker in almost all ways.

    For Nissa though it is because her skills are not efficient/good enough when compared with Garruck + the mana gain differences.

    For Jace is just that his skills are "so bad" that even when you put tezzeret skills at 0 value(play it with no support synergy) it is worse just because of net mana gains. Think his 2nd skill is really goo only when used with exert influence.
    That has more to do with the card being great though.

    If only draining mana actually transferred the mana it would help him a lot more via spells and 3rd ability.

    In paper Magic, there's a new Jace card in Oath of the Gatewatch. It seems likely that a version of this planeswalker will eventually be added to Puzzle Quest.

    In paper, his abilities are (roughly):

    * Draw a card
    * Bounce a creature
    * Screw with the opponent.

    How that transfers to Puzzle Quest is anyone's guess, but I imagine we'll see a new Jace in this game before they give new abilities to the old one.
